The grounds are very clean and well maintained. The pool nice-sized and sits adjacent to a small beach. So when you're laying at the pool you can hear the waves from the lake...really nice. There are a bunch of benches and Adirondack chairs along the beach to sit and watch the waves or the sunset. Numerous grills around the property for those wanting to grill out. Overall lovely experience. I'll definitely be back!

We did rent from…read morea private owner, so the complex itself was fairly nice even though over the past 10years this place did not improve any. There were a number of small issues with the apartment that made our stay here more of a pain. The complex would benefit from a public washer and dryer instead of taking our dirty clothes to our family's house. My advice would be to actually see what your renting before you do rent. Do not rely on the internet for this place. Great view of the lake though that is why it got 2 stars.

In February, the owner presented us with the terms for a May-Oct lease. We agreed and paid the $250…read moredeposit, and he deposited the check. A few days before our lease was to begin, as I was confirming entry and key arrangements, he decides to add a mandatory $500 security deposit. The terms presented in writing to which we agreed early February specifically said $0 security deposit. I told him I would gladly continue with the terms as presented and agreed, but that he couldn't just arbitrarily and unilaterally make changes to a lease. He mailed back our $250 deposit with no note, then finally emailed me the day we were supposed to obtain access and start our lease, telling me he was terminating our lease. Furthermore, the second day of our lease was our 10 year wedding anniversary, which he knew, and he didn't even both to tell us until the day we were moving in that our lease was unilaterally terminated. For all the times he messaged saying he was doing something because "it was just good business," he obviously doesn't understand that you cannot just unilaterally change agreements when both parties have solidified agreement. He's messed up our housing plans for the entire summer. I don't want other people to experience his unethical, unprofessional practices. He should be ashamed of himself for the way in which he treated us. We simply expected him to abide the terms of the agreement that he presented, and apparently that was asking too much!

I got one other quote which was about the same cost but I felt much more comfortable selecting Erie especially when they suggested adding additional venting to prevent the problem from reoccurring. The work performed was Mold Remediation, and added 2 gables vents and 1 fan.

This complex is ran by people who don't care about their tenants. I have lived here for 3 years and…read morethis place is full of people who do drugs such as but not limited to: suboxone stripes, heroin, as well as other pills. When the complex is told about these people the people that report the issues get evicted. Many car brake ins have happened and management has deleted the video feed and told police they haven't found anything. Teenagers are also doing drugs and drinking cough syrup to get high with parents knowing of what they are doing. When me and my son first moved in we were told this place is a drug free zone and to call the city police with any issues which has turned out to be as big of a joke as the management here. I do not recommend moving here at all as the owner is going to file bankruptcy and close the place down since there are so many issues here that he can not fix. People who pay their rent on time or early get evicted while people who take their monthly check from the complex to buy drugs gets to stay. Also the maintenance men/ complex out site management come into your apartment and if you are not home then they go threw your stuff and fundal women's clothes. Also the maintenance men choose who lives here and if they don't know you personally they push you out to move in their friends and family.
