You'll see when you meet him. Ty Ash is incompetent, immature, unprofessional real estate technician. He is in it for himself, doesn't care about you as a client, and will do anything to put you in a terrible situation for a money grab. He will schmooze you til the end, and you won't even realize it because that's how slimy and shady he is. Trust me (an unbiased client who was looking for a new home and got absolutely ROBBED), or feel free to trust his boy club buddies (majority of whom work or have worked with him). His reviews are a facade as weak as his actual real estate skills. Literally, go to anyone else. Give your commission to someone knowledgeable and trustworthy. Someone who will do the work and who's earned and deserves it. Someone who will find you something appropriate within your price range, provide actual guidance and support, go to bat for you, and has negotiation skills. Not a young amateur who will not spend an extra minute on you and will screw you over with terrible advice to make a couple more bucks for his and his girlfriend's pocket. They will not return any tenant phone calls unless it is described as an emergency. The staff is rude, tacky, and unprofessional. Hire a lawyer before renting from them. They will take rent money and claim they never received it; or rent you an apartment only to days later tell you it was mistakenly rented before you paid for it.....then proceed to take you to view a less desirable place once you are desperate.

I completed an online application that requested my SS# and income prior to viewing an apartment. I…read morewas never given a scheduling to see the specific apartment I was interested, in even after completing their rental application. Since completing the rental application, they asked for and received my SS# 3 more times by email, as well as the most current available bank statement, since I am a full time graduate student and have a years worth of funds set aside for rent. They then asked for a photo of the social security card, although the rental application and earlier texts and emails only asked for the social security number. They finally stated they needed the bank statement more current than the last monthly statement I provided (which is the most current), as the next statement would not be available for 3 more weeks. In the previous year, two other realty companies approved my application based on my credit score and agreement to pay rent for the upcoming year upon signing the contract. Again, I never was offered an opportunity to view the apartment before supplying critical information. They did deny my application-without even offering a visit to make a decision on even approving of the apartment for myself. Very frustrating, especially their circular argument of "how do we know you will pay upfront for a year with a certified check?". If someone presents the certified check or certified electronic transfer of funds-the answer is automatically given that the funds are provided and the renter is paid in full for that year. Orange Avenue Realtors seemed to have very consumer compromising practices.
