On top of that you may be able to find something you'd like too, like a good book to read. The last star is missing for two reasons. The center is located in a dead end location. That works in the sense of it not being a potential eyesore or traffic mess if located on a main street. But it doesn't quite work so well being there is only one way in and one way out; sometimes you can find yourself waiting a bit to do something. And the other reason is it is kinda small for all that it offers. Traffic flow can be challenging. But that's only one star split among two or more reasons. Horrible time restarting service after a vacation hold. I could have given them a date then but they did not want a date until I called upon my return. This cannot be taken care of adequately on line so I have now wasted over 3 hours,speaking to a total of 7 people to restart service and return my cans,-still no luck. I keep getting promises,hearing excuses and even claiming that "someone" called and cancelled the cans. Yet they also claim my service has been restarted and will be billed as of 4/8, and as of today, 4/13/26,I am still without cans or pickup service. I do not want anything more than my 3 cans returned and I demand an adjustment on charging me for a service that I have not received. What am I supposed to do with the food waste that is now rotting in bags. If I put them on the deck, the wild animals will rip the open and create a mess for both me and my neighbors. The garage will attract rodents and ants- this is terrible service for a customer that has never missed a bill. I can't believe that a company this large can be so inept in solving what should be, a pretty simple customer service problem. I'm turning to my City and County for help. This is quickly becoming a health problem.

We get it - you have to strike, we're not complaining. But we got our bill - and it was the full bill. Why are we paying for your strike? When I called when the strike was resolved, I wanted to make sure we were not going to get charged for the two weeks these people were on strike. I got a "beat-around-the-bush" answer. Of course. Because we are paying for their strike? Why are people okay with this? Not acceptable at all. I called again today and got the run around about how "cities were meeting." Who cares? Take off the two weeks we didn't have service, that simple. She said maybe we'll see it on the next bill. If it's not, I'll just take it off myself. I'm not paying for their strike. And to top it off there was an extra 12.91 charge for an "Extra Can, Bag or Box" Look at my photo. Eight inches above the top of the garbage can. Two small bags. They're charging us 12.91 extra for that. We've had a little extra garbage in our can many times without issue. It's never overflowing - it's maybe a little bit higher that it won't but it's not even that much and if I wanted to I could crush it enough that it would close - I didn't know this was an issue. $12.91 for this. WTF? What an absolutely scummy company. EDIT: I have been informed by a lawyer to contact the PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION and the city Republic has a contract with (your city). I did and the PUC says they don't handle this stuff and my city, like Republic, doesn't care. If anyone else has any other options please let me know.
