I thought he would get started sometime later in the week, but he was available that evening to do the work, so he got going right away. I called Willy to get a quote on hauling away some yard waste, rocks, windows and random junk we dug up from our yard. He came the same morning to take a look to give me an accurate quote. At first he gave me a high quote and I was surprised. I said I would have to check with my husband. He immediately knocked off nearly 20% of the price. (I am giving 4 stars because I felt like if I were a man he would have given me the most accurate price right away.) After he left, I called 3 other hauling companies and his discounted quote was on par, with the least of the others, so I decided to go with them. Two days later he and his brother Jose came and took everything away. (Well, everything except for the remains of a bush we dug up, but I can understand that they didn't think it was part of the pile because it still kind of looked alive. I ended up chopping it up and putting it in my green bin myself after they left). Summer Hauling came out the same day as our call to give us a quote, and were there exactly when they said they would be the next morning to clean out a huge haul of construction debris for us. Wood, broken stucco, wire, the works--literally filled the back of their truck to capacity.
