The emergency care, medical staff and doctors are OUTSTANDING!!! Which is what makes this review so difficult to write. However, since they were taken over by Methodist Health their billing practices are deceitful and outrageous. I confirmed before seeing a nurse for a sinus infection that it would be treated as an "Urgent Care" visit since it was 4pm on a weekday, but I believe they billed my insurance as an "Emergency Visit", which is now going towards my deductible and they want me to pay $303 in addition to the $25 co-pay I paid at the time of my visit. I called Methodist's billing dept (3 times) and they told me to "not pay the bill" and they would re-bill it and blamed my insurance provider for not understanding their billing codes, but they keep sending me bills. After contacting my insurance provider they said I was being billed for 3 injections (I only received 1 - a steroid shot for $700!!!, so don't do that if given a option) and it is completely unclear if this was submitted as an urgent care visit or an emergency visit or exactly what the clinic claims my treatment was other than a series of injection billing codes.

She referred to me as "friend" and she made me feel like she was super concerned about my well being. I limped in to the emergency room cramping and vomiting. Upon my arrival, there was a young lady there being very rude to the intake staff, I believe her name was Jimysha or something close to that. The charge nurse, I don't remember her name, she was a tall white lady. She handled the rude young lady so professionally. I wish I knew her name so I could shout her out as well. But my goodness, it felt so good to be treated well by everyone that I interacted with at Medical City. I truly would like to do something nice for those who had a hand in helping me recover. Nandimandalam, and from the very first interaction to the last, she did not hear me as a patient, she did not express compassion. This doctor's bed side manner was deplorable. She spoke over me repeatedly and would cut me off when I attempted to speak and advocate for myself. I also later discovered that she broke HIPPA law by sharing my test results with my mother whom was present without my consent in secret. I don't believe this physician is fit for direct patient care, as she gave me a terrible experience when I was already feeling awful, and she broke the laws that protect my privacy.

I agreed to see one of the nurse practitioners and paid the higher fee for my first visit. She was not able to advise me on anything during that visit as she didn't have my bloodwork results yet. I have not been able to communicate with her at all about prescriptions since having my bloodwork run. The doctors do not communicate with patients through clinic's messaging system, unlike many other clinics. Messages are only responded to by the assistants. After much back and forth due to this, it has been almost two months without one of my agreed upon prescriptions being filled. One of my other prescriptions was incorrectly filled. After multiple calls and messages with assistants that were just following a script, the office manager called and insisted that it had been filled correctly and told me to go to CVS to handle it with them. The CVS pharmacist showed me how it was sent in and explained how it was done incorrectly. She tried to call the clinic but only only got the AI system. I have made more calls and sent messages since then. Today the office manager again called and insisted that the prescription was filled correctly, complete with a bad attitude as usual. She then told me I'm being fired as a patient. This is how they deal with their incompetence. This the worst run clinic I have ever dealt with.

You'd expect an emergency room to move with some sense of urgency, but that clearly wasn't the case here. Even after finally being placed in a room, things didn't improve. It took forever to get any kind of update from a doctor. We were left sitting there, unsure of what was going on, with no clear timeline or reassurance. It felt like we were completely forgotten. I understand ERs can get busy, but the lack of communication and urgency made an already stressful situation much worse. Patients deserve better transparency and care, especially in emergencies. I would not recommend coming here unless you have no other option.

I called Monica the practice manager but she never returned my call. I called again a month later and again was told that the practice dismissed me and that Dr. Coxsley made that decision. I think it's crap you leave honest feedback about your staff 3 years ago and you are never allowed back there. Staff come and go all the time but Dr. Coxsley is still there. She is a great doctor. you would think that the practice would call me and ask me what happened what can they do to make it better, etc., but no they did not. It's a shame they can get away with doing this. I tried to email corporate but this is a big business.... never heard back from anyone. I can not recommend this practice as they are shady.

I went there because I had horrible pain in my right ring finger. After explaining the situation, the doctor quickly diagnosed me with a wasp sting and prescribed steroids and some OTC meds. I was on the mend very quickly. I would visit this location again if needed as the service was quick and everyone was friendly.
