Seriously the best donut shop around. Made to order breakfast croissants, burritos, biscuits, so it's always hot and fresh!

There was not a contract set in place all verbal. I asked for his price and he 1000.00nfor lamb chops and 2 pans of pasta being seafood and chicken. I then asked how much for a side and told him I needed (2) and he said that it would be 209 extra. I paid my deposit of 250.00 which he did not disclose was non-refundable. I called him in August 14th one month prior to the event to tell him I needed to make changes to my orders and asked for the new price. He said ok he'll call and did not reach out. Week of my event I call to see the pickup arrangements he tells me my orders not paid in full. I explained to him everything was paid in full minus the 2 pans of pasta which he quoted were 250.00 a pan toting 500.00 should have been deducted from my order since I'm no longer needing those dishes. And, that I notified him a month in advance that I no longer needed. I reached out to his business partner asking him to see if I had a balance and explained to him I made changes to my order and the amount should be cheaper they both tell me that they gave me a deal and the price of food has gone up that even though I'm not getting the 2 dishes of pasta anymore. His business partner states the price is staying the same. I then asked for my refund back and was told that they'll give me everything minus the deposit of 250.00 which was not disclosed as NON Refundable and he called me in rage cursing me out and talking loud telling me he didn't appreciate me calling his brother which is his said business partner and as I tried to explain to him why I called he's kept cutting me off not allowing to speak and tells me No one can tell him how to run his business and I'd better ask someone who Mikee August is and hung up in my face. I even tried to get a male friend to try to talk to him and he cursed him out telling him oh you calling to try to defend her?! And also told him to ask someone who Mikee was only to not allow him to talk and hung up in his face. As of right now there has not been a refund provided $700.00 or the 450.00 minus the deposit nor has there been food received. I'm very DISPLEASED with the unprofessionalism, attempted intimidation, and disrespect that was displaced by these "Business professionals". And will never ever refer any business to them moving forward nor do business with them.

Just off the exit on I-10 before hitting Beaumont and worth the stop. I'm not from Texas and it appears this is a chain restaurant but I'd easily come here over McDonald's/ Wendy's for some fair priced breakfast.

This calls for a celebration: instead of me going to the Donut Palace in Pine Forest like usual, I started going to Happy Donuts. Porsche C will be happy to know that I went there immediately after my workout at Anytime Fitness, which is a few steps away. Happy Donuts is in a prime location on Main Street, a short drive north of I-10. Walk-in or drive-through, and they have a few tables to sit at while eating. Also breakfast sandwiches and drinks. Their offerings are pretty good. But I find them to be so sweet that they take away from the enjoyment of good health food. As I type this, I'm eating an apple fritter, and it's thin with only some apple taste. If that turns you on, then more power to ya, but Donut Palace has bigger, tastier cinnamon rolls and apple fritters. I haven't tried the old fashioned yet, the Hunny is into those but I'm not (strange that SHE hasn't walked over to Happy Donuts after her workout). To sum it up, if being on a sugar high makes you happy, then slide on over to Happy Donuts.
