Definitely recommend if wanting to get teeth cleaned, I've been looking for a dentist for a while and it was hard to find good ones and trusting them with my teeth. Everyone was very friendly and guided me on how to properly take care of my teeth and gums for better hygiene, I was explained very thoroughly what was the cause of my teeth being in it's condition followed by how I could prevent further damage in the future and pictures to show what areas to tackle more with the floss and toothbrush. read more

I asked a friend for a dentist recommendation - he takes his whole family here and has for years. Dr. Tran and her staff are great. They do everything they can to keep you comfortable and will explain everything in detail. They photograph everything to minimize hassles with insurance and to be able to show you what's going on. I used to be afraid of going to the dentist, but not anymore. Dr. Tran and the entire staff are fantastic! They treat me with respect and care for me as if I were family member. They are always friendly and are truly striving to provide you with the best experience possible. They are doing an exceptional job managing the pandemic - cleaning before and after seeing a patient, while limiting the number of people inside the business, the facility is (and has always been) very clean and sterile. We love Dr. Tran. She is a knowledgeable and comforting person to be around. Her office staff is also very kind and helpful. Dr. Tran and her staff are always conscious of whether I feel any pain or if my daughter feels in any way nervous about our visit. My daughter used to be afraid of the dentist due to a horrible dentist (who's name I wish I remembered so that I could report to some sort of board). My daughter especially loves the movies they play during her appointments. What a great distraction! We will never go to another dentist. read more

Not sure how anyone could have a bad experience at Bayou City Dental. I have been going for 2 years and recently took my mom there to get dentures which required several visits. At all of those visits the front staff have always been very courteous, the hygienists and dental assistants have been very knowledgeable and friendly and Dr. Tran has always taken her time with us and been very friendly as well. They continuously ask to make sure you are comfortable during all procedures (regular cleanings, an injection that was painless for a cavity, to teeth extractions for my mom and the fittings for her dentures). My mom loves her new dentures and finally has a smile she can be proud of after years of poor dental treatment. Dr. Tran is very thorough at explaining procedures/treatment needed and why and preventative steps to take to prevent future problems. Kevin Tran also regularly asks about my family, is very compassionate and professional as well when his services are needed. I definitely recommend Bayou City Dental for all your dental needs. read more

Bayou City Dental in Southbelt/ Ellington, Houston is not a fair place to visit. Jennie Tran appears to get paid commission on fillings. She will try to convince you that you have a huge cavities that need immediate attention. Do not visit this place. I will never return. Save your money. read more

If I could RATE Dr. Tran with a 10 I would give it to her. She's amazing. My kids aren't the easiest children to handle. We've been seeing Dr. Tran for at least 7 years. My oldest child has OCD really bad, we went thru about 10 dentists before we found Dr. Tran. My son and Dr. Tran have this bond like I've never seen before, she's so honest and REAL with him. I think that's why he RESPECTS her so much! She just recently saved us again. My son had braces and he didn't take care of his teeth after the braces were removed. His tooth actually just had a huge hole in it. She FIXED it better than it was before. She honestly loves her patients and she makes us feel like were part of her family. Her staff are great, so friendly and always ready to laugh and smile with us. I refer EVERYONE I know to Dr. Tran. SHE'S AMAZING!!! read more

I've been going to Dr. Tran with my son for years. My son has an extreme fear of going to the dentist. When he had to have his baby tooth removed to make room for the permanent one, I was very anxious and suggested his dad come along to help control the possible hysteria. Dr. Tran talked to my son warmly and patiently and calmed him down. She reviewed his x-ray with us and explained in detail what was going to happen. To our surprise, he did not make a peep when she injected him with the anesthetic. The whole procedure went smoothly as all the drama we were expecting never happened. I never write reviews, but after seeing the ones above depicting Dr. Tran so inaccurately, I just had to give my opinions. I understand each person's experience is unique when you visit any service provider. However, to bash someone's reputation without any solid proof is irresponsible. We love Dr. Tran. She is a fantastic and knowledgable doctor. She prepares a dental plan that is specific to your needs and makes sure you are taken care of. My whole family goes there. My kids who are 5yo and 7yo are not afraid of going to her. Her whole staff are loving and friendly people. We usually never have to wait for lengths of time like other doctor offices and I love how she has Saturday appointments, a total plus for my busy family schedule!!! Dr Tran is an AMAZING dentist! The office is modern, beautiful and clean. The office staff is ALWAYS super friendly and they go out of their way to help you with insurance and other questions. My 6-year old son's adult teeth were finally making their presence known, but because my son's strong and firm baby teeth refusing to give way, they would require extraction by a reputable & qualified dentist. I have heard nothing but good things about Bayou City Dental and therefore had made an appointment for the following morning. Dr. Tran and her staff were very professional throughout the whole process. The whole process took approximately 45 minutes for the removal of not one, but two front incisors, and my son never experienced any discomfort or pain under her swift & expert hands. They even gave him this cool little necklace holder (shaped like a tooth) in which to keep them in for easy and fun transport. That was a thoughtful and nice finishing touch to an already great experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Tran and her expert and friendly staff for anyone in need of professional dentistry. As a new resident to the 77089 area i was very concerned about finding a new and good dentist closer to my new house. Dr. Tran and her friendly staff put all my worries to rest. It was so easy and convenient for me to book an appointment for me and my 4 year old daughter. I was seen with my daughter this past Tuesday the staff was amazing with my daughter keeping her occupied with movies and just talking to her so she knew what was going on, which was beyond helpful. I was able to have my cleaning completed and work explained to me for the two of us. I given all my options in advance so i know what will happen step by step appointment by appointment. I also really appreciate how Dr. Tran explans the proper way to brush/floss and better types of food recomeended that will be better for our teeth for me and my daughter so we can have better check ups.
