One of my co-workers recommended Dr. Khalil at Houston Family Dental so I went in for a consultation. They were able to fix my tooth that same day. What a relief! I was feeling very bad walking around with half a front tooth missing... I felt like a hillbilly... The Dr. had a very gentle approach. I was scared because I'd never gotten anesthetic on my mouth before, but they made me feel very at ease. My face was still badly bruised from the fall, and he was extra careful to not lean against any of the bruises on my lip and cheek. I really should have taken before and after pictures! My fixed tooth looks so great that when i ask people to guess which on is the fake tooth they usually point at my REAL tooth! I'm so happy that I found a dentist I can trust. Everyone in the office is so friendly and professional. I don't have insurance, but they have very affordable cash prices... In fact writing this review reminded me that i'm over-due for a check-up and cleaning... I better get on that... So, YES, highly recommended!

So he said I'm so sorry and said he will do root canal on the tooth that was actually in pain for free started the root canal and couldn't finish and sent me to a specialist to finish the root canal and the specialist said the tooth was too damaged and needed to be extracted so I went back and had the tooth extracted so now (2) teeth are gone , So I go somewhere else to get implants and will not EVER go back to Sunny Dental again and they won't be installing my crown on my implants either he's incompetent and why didn't a hygienist clean my teeth in the beginning and now I'm looking at my dental insurance and it's looking like they have been charging for stuff and I haven't even been in their office in 2024 so I will be contacting my dental insurance to possibly file a fraud claimed

I left my previous dentist due to a change of insurance. Had my 1st appointment for my teeth cleaning with Dental Smile located at Scarsdale. The Dentist was late for 15 minutes. After the X-ray and exam, he wanted to perform a deep cleaning which I refused. I told the hygienist to just do a regular cleaning (Prophylaxis). She was not happy and keep insist to perform a deep cleaning. They finally agree to do a regular cleaning (Prophylaxis). This is how they do a regular cleaning by using water pick to spray and brush my teeth in less than 5 minutes. I asked the hygienist "Is this how you do a regular cleaning?" and her replied was "yes". A matter of fact, I do this twice a day at home and why have come to this lousy Dental Smile for all of these. All the dentist that I went to in the past using equipment to scrape off any built up and polish the teeth but not this place. They ended up bill my insurance for X-ray, exam and cleaning. This Dental Smile at Scarsdale is absolutely a joke, a flight by night type of service. They are there to rip off your insurance.
