Our daugther is know school age and loves the after school program (which they pick her up from school as part of the tuition). During the summer she is enrolled full time and we have been SUPER impressed with the summer schedule of events for the school age kids. They have gotten to take some pretty amazing field trips as well as have some very cool on campus experiences. We can't thank CC enough for all the steps they took to continue to provide childecare to essential workers (which both me and my husband are) during the heart of the pandemic. We jumped into the program mid way and the staff was very accommodating, helping successfully integrate our kids. Our children have excelled in terms of academics & behavior. My 5 year old twins LOVE to read. They are excited about learning and before bed each night, they want to get their books and read to us. The most valuable asset of the school are its teachers. Ms. Monica and Ms. Shila are both tops in terms of teaching. The classrooms are calm and always buzzing with activity. My children love to go to school, even Monday morning! Ms. Fi, the director, is always available to answer questions and the children love her as well. We were informed that because we did not provide a full four weeks' notice, the school would retain our entire deposit. While we understand that policies exist for a reason, keeping the full deposit over a one-week difference felt unnecessarily rigid and disappointing, especially given the significant financial investment families make to attend this school. What was most frustrating was the lack of flexibility and consideration for our family's circumstances. A partial refund or compromise would have felt much more reasonable and demonstrated that the school values its relationship with families beyond simply enforcing policies. We also noticed a high amount of staff turnover during our time there. While we cannot speak to the reasons behind it, it was something that stood out to us. Additionally, several staff members we interacted with did not seem particularly happy or supported in their roles, which raised concerns for us about the overall culture of the school. If your primary concern is the day-to-day classroom experience, we had positive interactions with our son's teachers. However, if customer service, administrative flexibility, and financial fairness are important factors in your decision, I would encourage you to carefully consider those aspects before enrolling. For a school that requires a substantial financial commitment from families, we expected a more reasonable and family-centered approach. I will include that administration did offer what they described as an adjustment by allowing us to hold our deposit and apply it toward a future enrollment, and they stated that they would not charge another deposit if we chose to return. They appeared to view this as good customer service and a reasonable accommodation. However, these options were not helpful in our family's circumstances, and the school was aware of the reasons we were leaving. Re-enrolling was not a realistic option for us, so offering to preserve the deposit for a future enrollment did not address the actual issue we were facing. While we appreciate that an alternative was offered, it felt like a solution that the administration knew we would not be able to use, rather than a meaningful effort to work with our family on a fair resolution.

I can back in the middle of the day and the front office receptionist said I could peek into the room. I saw my daughter running after her teacher, arms outstretched asking for a hug. Teacher just kept walking and ignored her and let her cry. Totally not comforting her at all. I was told that the teacher didn't see her I was told it's normal for a kid to be scared and crying the first day. I was stupid and brought my daughter back the second day. She comes home with a bruise on her inner thigh right close to her private area. I was so livid, when I confronted them they said she was walking and fell on a wooden toy brick that was on the ground. Really?!?! The bruise was on her inner thigh!! The bruise looks like someone pinched her on the inside of her thigh. They told me it's because she was learning how to walk and fell and that it's common for kids that age to get bruises. I don't think so... not on the inside thigh. I pulled her out immediately after that and found another place. Go research Cornerstone Christian Academy... it's a great place. My daughter has been with Cornerstone Christian Academy ever since and she's so happy everyday. CCA is Much safer than Greatwood Primrose.

They even have a pool for summer swim class. They have a library and computer room for pre-K. Speaking of which, they focus on reading and writing at 3 and 4 years old. They offer catered lunch and no juice (even staff said it was delicious?). They have 5 vans for field trips. They have an infant program and three daily schedules to accommodate working parents (1/2-day, school day, Full day). Kids seem extremely happy there. The school tends to have a waitlist and it is one of the more expensive programs on the area, but I can see why! I'd be delighted if my child could attend. Note: for comparison, we have also visited Casa dei Bambini Riverstone, Kiddie Academy Missouri City, Education Station, and the Walden School.

The director, Ms. Crystal is GREAT. Not only is she super responsive, but she also made our family feel comfortable immediately. I am able to get an almost immediate responses whenever I message with a question and she even follows up via phone call. Our family also loves Ms. Ashley, the assistant director. She is super friendly and has great rapport with both kiddos and parents.I literally feel so comfortable knowing my son is under their management. One thing that I really like about this location is how clean it is, especially during Covid. At our last daycare, my son was constantly sick and would often have dry snot on his face at pick up. This has NEVER HAPPENED at KinderCare Spring Branch. In fact, every time we pick him up hes clean, and smells as good (if not better) than when he arrived. Being a new mom I was worried about leaving my baby in a new spot, especially since you are not able to enter due to Covid restrictions. This anxiety has been put at ease thanks to the periodically snap shots of my sons day. My son has been attending Spring Branch Kindercare since he's been about 6 months old and he's…read morecurrently 2.5 years old. Prior to daycare we had a nanny but she wasn't what we thought she was, but that's a different story. Anyways we were in a pinch and needed to find a daycare. In a span of one week I toured 4 different daycares. We chose Kindercare because 1. Ms. Crystal is super responsive and during the tour she answered the list of questions we had clearly, 2. Ms. Lorena had been the main teacher in the infant room for a long time (and she's still there and she really was wonderful with our son while he was in the infant room). 3. I really liked how the babies were getting tummy time and they don't use bouncers/rockers or those sit to stand circular play things. The current assistant director, Ms. Ashley is wonderful and I think she's helped improve this Kindercare location. My son was lucky enough to have her as his teacher in the toddler room before she became to assistant director. In the room my son is now in, there has been one teacher (Ms Shay) that's been in that room since he's started and the second teacher/ helper in that room has changed about 2 or 3 times. I think Ms. Shay has been super helpful with my son's potty training. They really try to adhere to what the parent wants, which made it easier to be more consistent with how the potty training is going at home. One of the or major reasons why we like Kindercare is that they will give your child the food you pack him ( if you choose to do that). In the beginning I would pack all of my son's solid foods because I wanted to make sure he was used to the food I cooked and that I could make sure he got plenty of nutrients as we did not want him to start eating meat too early or get too used to the food offered at the daycare. I won't say it's perfect, nothing ever is, but I honestly don't think we could have made a better choice in the grand scheme of things*. And with the covid pandemic, they've stayed open and have taken the proper precautions to keep the teachers and children safe. It's not as easy to talk to the teachers anymore since I don't want to hold them up at pick up, but I have emailed and they are able to get back to me the within 24hrs about my questions about how my son was doing. If there's one negative I think it is the child to teacher ratio. They go with the state limit, so needless to say I think they could use more teachers. *Side story - there was one point where we were seriously upset and wanted to change daycares because of my son getting bit and we weren't sure if the biting would stop. But after talking with Ms. Crystal about the situation, she laid out the plan to deal with it and the biting stopped. Granted we had to get to step 3 of the plan (remove the bitter from the class). But it showed me that they were really willing to fix the issue and not ignore or brush it under the rug.

What can I say, these lovely teachers have always been a great part of making our lives a lot easier. They go above and beyond for children in there care. They make sure the children are learning and are engaged at all times. I love the interaction Ms.Cody, Ms.Jenny, and Ms.Annie have with my child. Each time my son is coming into class he always has a smile on his face. My son is always happy to come to school because of these three ladies. I appreciate them so much for making this experience with my son attending Mariner a great experience for me and my family. In Infant 1 class, Ms. Eudora was patient, creative and persistent until our daughter was a bottle drinking champ. In Infant 2, Ms. Cody and the team provided so many exciting activities and were so excited to share updates as our daughter's language, social, fine motor and gross motor skills progressed. In the Infant 3 class, we have seen her vocabulary and motor skills grow even more. Ms. Yaleni, Ms. Ana and Ms. Evelyn make sure all her needs are met and she is academically stimulated. We have always felt our daughter is safe and cared for as an individual and as a growing learner while at Mariner. The building is new and is kept clean and decorated for various seasons and holidays. The play area is expanding thanks to the school's acquisition of an adjacent lot. Parents are kept updated through a weekly email newsletter and daily through the ProCare app. Teachers update the app for naps, diaper changes and meals as well as posting pictures of activities once or twice a day. Parents can chat directly with teachers through the app as well. The school provides healthy, age appropriate meals included in the price of tuition.
