I only saw two private desks to conduct business and did not see a bathroom available for customers at this location. The line here moves fairly quickly. Once a long line of customers forms, right away two other bank tellers will come out to assist making wait times decrease significantly which is very convenient. My grandma is hard of hearing and is slow at conducting business which can frustrate young professionals at times. However, the bank tellers at this location were patient, kind and accommodating which was nice to see. I will continue to take my grandma to do business at this location. They also have one ATM right in front of the building and a drive-thru ATM at the back of the building. Their parking lot is on the small side with handicap parking available right in front.

Customers waiting in line in excess of fifteen minutes while the branch manager and one teller tend to matters in the vault versus servicing the customers that have kept them employed. This type of behavior was not tolerated years ago. The complaints that I heard, while waiting in line, were horrible. As a former BofA associate, I was saddened to hear customers so dissatisfied with the level of service received at this branch.

Since I was in the Greenbrier area for a doctor appointment, I decided to make a large deposit at the branch in the area, Choosing the drive through I pulled into the closest lane to the cashier. Having endorsed the check as usual it was returned to me twice for corrections and my driver's license. I drove away wishing I had gone to my wonderful Town Center branch, which I will do next time I have a need. I had to reach in and out of the cashier drawer so many times that I accidentally dropped my checkbook in the vehicle and didn't notice. I panicked that night when I couldn't find it to make a tax payment. I'm sure this branch is lovely, just like the rest of TowneBank's offices. But next time I'll stick to the branch that knows me.

For just general tasks, the front desk gets the job done (and about half the time with a smile). They aren't the fastest bunch and last time I was in, an employee asked a customer who was depositing a self proclaimed 'big check' what he did for a living. I guess this isn't a big deal for some, but I think that's infringing on the privacy of someone who might not be comfortable. Having said that, they are generally friendly and ask how my day is. Sometimes the friendliness gets in the way of speed, however, since I've never seen more than 2 people working at the desk at one time. I sat down with a personal accountant to figure out the best credit card option through the bank and not only did the employee take a personal call while I was with her, but she did not seem to be knowledgable at all about my options. After figuring that out 20 minutes later, she recommended I call customer service for more information. It's not the worst BofA branch, but they could use a little improvement.

What happened was when a rate on my credit card expired, my monthly payments more than tripled. They are calling me day and night. I have a record of what may be more than a dozen customer reps have saying some very stupid things, such as closing my account. That would totally destroy my credit. I have a job and I am working off the balance. But couldn't they consider that I've been a customer for decades and reduce the interest rate? They keep saying I must call but then I do and they go round and round and round in circles- never resolving. I cannot wait to close all my dealings with Wells Fargo and go with a credible Credit Union. Shame on you Wells Fargo.
