Wow. Just, wow. In this day and age when you've gotten used to receiving crappy service with a side order of attitude, along comes Bayside Moving and blows this preconceived notion away. Throughout my entire move these young people were professional, courteous, honest and friendly. From the moment I emailed Bayside Moving and received a quick response and quote from Austin I was hopeful that this would be a painless move. We moved from Pensacola Beach further east along the Gulf Coast. On moving day, five young men showed up on time and started packing my furniture. They were professionally dressed, pleasant and fast working. I cannot remember the names of all the five men but appreciate their service. I opted to have the furniture delivered two days later to have time to arrive and prepare our new beach home for the furniture. There was a blip with time of arrival due to a misunderstanding regarding CST and EST, but I received a call from Cody letting me know and we were good to go. Cody and Anderson showed up, unwrapped furniture, moved furniture up and down three flights of stairs without once hearing a complaint or seeing them waste time. They went above and beyond and did a few extra things such as moving an existing washer & dryer down to the garage. I received outstanding service. Not one thing arrived broken. Not one wall scratched or wooden floor marred. I was so happy with this entire experience. After a call, Austin came to assess my home two days later, we booked the following day and moved the next week. Austin and Corey arrived promoptedly and cheerfully and worked quickly and quietly. His confidence single-handedly restored my sanity (and my ability to sleep). About four days before the move, my trash haulers flaked on me -- unable to come to get the mountain of stuff we had culled before the move. Once again in a panic, I emailed Austin. Within 10 minutes, he got back to me: No problem; they would take haul it away on packing day. (Sanity restored again.) The crew was so kind, considerate, careful and efficient. They packed both Pensacola locations into appropriate boxes, loaded the truck, drove overnight to Tampa, and the following day they unloaded it all -- carefully and successfully. Bayside moved me a few years ago from Pensacola to New Orleans and at that time, they were 5 stars. I finally bought a house back in Milton and on a whim, called Austin and asked if they would consider coming to New Orleans, packing me up and bringing me back. So happy I made that call! The two gentlemen that came, Cody and Marques, were nothing but polite, professional and personable. Not sure how Austin screens and interviews for his team but great job! I had to coordinate my move via email from outside the country, but Austin made it extremely easy for me. The two men that came out for my unload were very professional. I was called when they left their area and given an approximate time of their arrival which was very accurate. They worked very fast and were careful with all of my household goods. Excellent company all around, I called twice to confirm details and both gentlemen were friendly and accommodating, and the movers (Cody and Reno) were polite, professional, and efficient. We needed just the big things moved during a recent move, Couch, tables, bed, etc. Following the reviews on here, I filled out the online estimator and submitted it for a quote. They came back with a reasonable quote of 2.5 hrs for 2 men and a truck. They arrived on time, and as they had a third guy on the last job, they brought him as well and didn't charge us for his time. If I could give 10 stars I would... we have moved A LOT, but hands down best experience moving we have ever had. I'll start with Austin, the owner.... he answered every time I called to ask questions etc, not only did he answer the phone and all of my questions but he seemingly did it so happily, which to me means he takes pride in his company. Before the movers arrived we discussed taking over things we wanted to bring ourselves and take shifts so someone could be there to watch the movers, but within 10 minutes of meeting the movers, both of us secretly talked about how they were the most professional people we had met in a while (introduced themselves, asked preferences, and had generally good attitudes), we were fully confident in both leaving at the same time to fill our cars up and take stuff over. If you knew us, you'd know how big of a deal that is. I'm genuinely impressed, and I NEVER thought I'd say that about a moving company. Oh yes, bc I let my emotions get in the way lol, cost efficiency.... VERY affordable , we got a quote for triple the cost before them. They were fast and very careful. We only found one tiny issue, which is incredible (be realistic when you move, sh*t happens) and we were so impressed with them we didn't care. I cannot recommend them enough!!!! read more

YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. As I started reading reviews online to help decide on a moving company, I kept going back to re-read the reviews on Bayside Moving. At first, you will think they are all paid endorsements because they were all very good, well now I know for sure having used Austin and his crew that they are all correct. With our unique situation of downsizing and selling most of our large furniture, I decided to call to get a quote instead of using the online form. Austin was so organized and courteous to work with. I listed the items we were moving, estimated the boxes and received a quote the next day. The email I received was detailed with the fees, how you are billed, estimated number of hours and the number of crew members who will move your belongings. There will not be any hidden fees; what is stated in the email was what our final bill was. Now, the day before the move, I did choose to add a tv box rental and mattress bags to protect our belongings but Austin resent the quote to add the few extras I decided on (these are also listed in the email for you to decide on). Peace of mind is well worth the nominal fees for those few items I added. To further explain Austin's professionalism and the team he has in place.....we moved during Tropical Story Cindy (6/20/17)! Now, where we were it was just raining so no one was in danger, no high winds or surf as you saw on tv. They arrived at our home, loaded our belongings, in the rain I might add and then drove to our new home which is a 5 story condo building. Our new home is on the 5th floor which meant they had to use an elevator to bring our belongings up. At least they were able to park very close to the elevator. They worked like a well-oiled machine. Not that I expected to hear a complaint but you would have thought due to the unpleasant weather we were having, you might have heard a grumble or something...nothing, not one complaint. They placed everything in the rooms as they were labeled. They didn't stop, they kept going until the truck was unloaded. If moving during a tropical storm isn't enough of a challenge, we were at the mercy of the closing of our home. I stayed in communication with Austin the week before as the dates changed. First, we were to close on the 19th, then it was moved to the 20th, then we were back to closing on the house on the 19th, move out of our home and find a place to store our belongings before we could close on the condo on the 22nd. Austin was unflappable, he offered a solution to my dilemma before I knew what I was going to do with our belongings for a few days. He offered to use his large trailer instead of the big moving trucks he has. That way, the house could be packed up, stored at his location then delivered to our new home once we closed. The fee he quoted for this service was also very reasonable and cost effective. Luckily, we were able to close & move on the same day but it was great he had options to choose from. I hired this company for a 3 man crew to come and load a ABF U-pack trailer since we were moving an entire 3 bedroom home. I read the reviews and I was very comfortable with what they all assured me. I have to say that I was disappointed. We had scheduled and we only had 3 guys for a few hours and then it went down to two guys for the remainder. They did not secure anything with rope to avoid shifting during our move. Upon arriving at our new location we noticed how poorly our trailer was packed and how they did not read the boxes that said "this side up". We also saw how poorly they wrapped some of our stuff. Including a stainless steel fridge that got scratched because they did not cover it completely with blankets, which we provided. I was very disappointed especially because we paid quite a bit of money for only sub-par work. I will give them credit that they worked hard considering the weather, but overall the cost was not worth it the lack of care for my items.
