I have really thick, curly hair and Krista did an amazing job. The service was quick, friendly, and she asked what I needed and met everything. I'm definitely happy I came here. The place is a little old, but it's very welcoming and is definitely interesting to sit in. If you need a haircut or want to try something new, I definitely suggest tying this place out. Now, I haven't tried getting a shave there or anything yet, so I'm speaking from a first visit, haircut only. I'm very satisfied with my haircut and plan to continue going there.

She didn't even try and clearly didn't want to even come near my kids. Another stylist ended up cutting their hair. She ran in the back and hid for some reason. This whole experience was weird. Its just hair, just cut it. My kids aren't thugs and I wasn't asking for anything overly complicated. I only wanted a bowl cut and a mohawk. Worst service ever. Literally just a crazy woman screaming about how she doesn't do black hair. I would have been better off going to my normal Latino spot that over charged me. Never again. Update still got the haircuts here since I didn't want to make it weird. Jackie is hid away until an older latino man came in here and immediately sat him and started cutting his hair with clippers even though she said she only used scissors. So I can honestly say the problem is 100% her. She even offered his granddaughter candy and was warm and friendly with his. She never even acknowledged my kids. Thank you Tanya and Shelly for treating my children with actual kindness and for the good job you did. But I'm never coming back here. I don't want to be in the room with such wickedness like Jackie. I have baby fine hair, and Oscar knows how to cut my hair so that it looks fuller and neat. He also trims my beard without scalping it the way other barbers have done in the past. For older men like myself, it is nice to find a barber shop that can give a more "traditional " haircut, while also keeping up with the latest trendy haircuts for the young men and boys. I highly recommend this shop. Robert, the owner, is always friendly, as are all the other barbers who cut hair there.

Each barber is unique in their own way. No appointment needed, but I'm sure if this place wasn't located in the gas station parking lot, I'd need an appointment. Anyway, one of those barbers is Ashley and she works at Robert's place. She is nice in a subtle way. No, she's not bubbly and annoying. If I don't feel like talking, she's cool with it, but one thing I can always count on...and this is the biggy for me, she cuts my hair right. I don't have to guess how it's going to look. She nails it every time....for the last 10 years. That's a big deal to me. With other barbers, it's a risk. I never know. Yes, the hair will grow back, but geeze...This one time, a barber jacked my hair up so bad, I couldn't get the dog to play fetch...okay, so that didn't happen, but why risk it? I don't. I'll wait for Ashley if she is off for the day. Maybe I'm the only one that cares about these sort of things, but I sincerely doubt it. I did hear that Robert is moving to a new location in the near future. He is planning on changing the name of the business, so stay tuned.
