I have a really wide nail bed, so I have to get longer length and she talked me through that and assured I was very happy with what I got. I've been coming here for years and have spent thousands of dollars because it was always a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, ever since new management took over, things just haven't been the same. The atmosphere feels different, the quality has gone downhill, and that welcoming spirit the old owners had is gone. On my last visit, I went with my son. He got a manicure and pedicure, and I had a fill and pedicure. I tipped generously, as I always do. But as we were leaving -- literally as we were pulling out of the parking lot -- one of the employees ran outside, knocked on my car window, and said they "forgot to charge" me $15. I immediately paid it, but honestly, it left a sour taste in my mouth. After all the years of loyalty and the money I've spent here, that moment felt unprofessional and disappointing. Mistakes happen, but how you treat your customers matters. Sadly, I think it's time for me to find a new salon -- one that values people the way this one used to.

I was a little nervous about trying a new nail salon in an unfamiliar area, but we were on a time crunch so I couldn't be picky. We both got mani pedis and it was my boyfriend's first time ever getting one. The staff made the experience amazing. They were all super friendly, professional, and patient. They answered all of my boyfriend's questions since he had no idea what to expect or what anything was LOL. I wish I had gotten everyone's names because they were all so great. A special shoutout to the nail technician who did my nails!!! They turned out exactly how I wanted. She checked in with me throughout the entire process to make sure I was happy with the results and I've received more compliments on my nails than I ever have before. To top it all off, they were celebrating Chinese New Year while we were there. Making customers feel included in the festivities is such a thoughtful cool touch. It seems like the salon may have been testing out a new employee on paying customers, and that is completely unacceptable. If you are going to train or test a new person, that should be done on staff members, not customers who are paying full price for a professional service. The pedicure was not done as described on the menu for the service I selected. When I got home, I noticed I still had a lot of dead skin on my feet, which should have been removed during the pedicure. On top of that, the nail polish application looked terrible. The whole service took two hours, which is way too long for a pedicure. It was obvious something was wrong, and the managers were walking around the entire time. I do not understand why no one stepped in to check on the situation or correct it before I had to bring it to their attention myself. I told the manager the service was unacceptable.
