Other shops around town might give lip-service to safety protocols, (one shop only put on masks when they saw me at the door, and when I looked inside, they had their dogs running loose in the shop. I walked away), but the folks at Color Box don't play: they sanitize in and out, use gloves when appropriate, disinfect between each customer and greet customers outside. Even with all that, they still manage to make you feel well-cared for. Oh: they offer free touch-ups and trims, to keep you looking spiffy. Time to make my next appointment...

Lets just say, I was lucky to have any hair at all when she was finished. The mop on top was beyond damaged; breaking, tangled and burnt. Shawn agreed to consult and came up with a repair plan. It's a one chair shop owned and operated by Sarah. The shop is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Sarah is handy with the clippers and gave me an excellent faded cut. I showed her a photo of my last haircut and she went right to work. I was not disappointed. My hair came out just the way I wanted it. Sarah charges $15 for a standard cut but she does a "Hero" cut for vets, military, police, and first responders which brings the price down to $12. She's a very nice lady and easy to talk to. Her shop is busy and she takes about 20 minutes a cut. She is a walk-in shop but has a wait list at her desk as well.
