Edit: Sick of people messaging me about this. There's some loyal customers, which is a good sign. And, this was from my experience almost two years ago. So, hopefully they've learned and adjusted their new business, but I have no reason to make up what happened, why I won't ever go there, and the horrible experience I had. It's done, over. Leave it alone and don't message me about it. Initial review: I've only been here a couple of months and struggled to find a barber in town (driving to Mt. Vernon the past two times I had my hair cut). I went to this place four different times. One time, the first time, I came about an hour before their listed closing time and was turned away, being told that they close in 30 minutes. Every other time I came, I came an hour, two hours, and two and a half hours before close. When I tried to go in, the barbers were in there cutting hair with the open sign lit and the door was locked. I stood there and they would not even look at me. Some of the guests were laughing the last time. They have the most bizarre and rude customer service. These guys are br new and it obvious. read more

WOW! That's what my wife said when she saw my haircut. She's the one to please when I get cut, I'm not worried because I know it will grow out in a week or two. Kevin did an outstanding job! His shop is clean, with comfortable chairs while waiting and nice chairs for getting a trim. He finished my neck with cream and a straight razor, something that's not normally done around here. Such an amazing barber. My husband is very picky about who and how someone cuts his hair. Moving from California and him always going to the same guy. I was a little worried we wouldn't find a good barber he likes on the island. Well right when we walked into this shop we were greeted and treated amazingly. Very family friendly, and they work with you instead of just asking what you want. They ask questions during the haircut instead of just going as quick as they can and screwing your hair up. My experience has not been a pleasant one! I got a haircut by the barber named kevin (don't recommend getting a haircut by him, go with the ladies instead) reason being I have had to come in and refix my haircut. The ladies fixed it!!!!!!!!!! one side was faded correctly while the other side was not. I don't mean to call anyone out or to be mean but a little CONSTRUCTIVE CRITCISM may fix the issue. read more

This is my favorite shop & my only go to in town. Been coming for over a year now. Our whole family goes here. They offer straight razor shaves & finishes. They even do cool undercut designs that my daughter loves. They are always friendly. They do close at 6pm so please be mindful. I've see some people get rude who walk in & want a cut at 5:30 & they have like 4 people ahead of them. They will not be able to get to in that 30 minutes before closing. The prices are higher than the NEX, but here you're getting a quality, straight cut. I rather pay a little more for quality rather than suffer for weeks with a terrible cut. I highly recommend this shop. We always leave happy & looking great. read more
