After reading the Yelp reviews I was VERY nervous about coming here. I needed to ship a computer monitor to NYC; thankfully, it was all packaged and ready to go. I ultimately decided to come here because they ship with all the major shippers: USPS, UPS, and Fedex. I priced it online at USPS, UPS, and Fedex; USPS was around $26, UPS was around $22, and Fedex was around $28. I know rates can vary at independent shipping outlets like this one, so I was kind of nervous. I tried calling the store twice; it went to a voicemail which was full which made me even more nervous. When I came into the store this morning, I was greeted by a young man. I asked if I could get quotes from the different companies, as well as estimated arrival times. He immediately went to get another employee, maybe the manager/owner. She took my dimensions, weighed my package, and gave me my options for all 3 companies, both the quote and estimated arrival time. UPS was cheapest and would get it there in the fastest time. Get this: I only paid $18 to ship it, that was a VERY nice surprise. I was also in and out in 5-10 minutes. I don't have any experience receiving packages here, but whenever I need to ship something from the beach, I'll definitely come back! read more

Do not use Bayville postal services! Not once but twice they gave my packages to other customers and on one occasion it took over a week to retrieve. The other day after confirming that my package was there and having an installer at my house waiting, they told me they could not locate my package and that I could come back at a later time.....lol...Never the less after being told this and watching three people who had no clue how to handle customer service, one playing on her phone the other standing there and the last looking around after realizing they had given the package to the wrong person. All she had to do was call the person who she gave the package to. Remind you I have and installer at my house waiting at 50.00 an hour... After some time Pam Atkins the owner steps in, (what a breath of fresh air) ..She is one of the most arrogant , unintelligent person on the planet and has no right to own any Business. That's right I forgot she married into the money and her husband had to give her something to do to keep his sanity. After retiring from UPS of 25 years this is one of the most unorganized and unprofessional businesses I have ever dealt with. I haven't even scratched the surface with this review it goes on.. Its time for an updated review. This place rocks - I've been using this company through 2 different owners, since 2015. Their service is almost always perfect, even through the transition period. I walked in here with a package of vital ppe that I wanted to send to my sister in law that is an icu nurse during the peak of the corona outbreak. They were so helpful, kind and ultimately wouldn't let me pay the shipping cost and sent it as fast as it could get there. These are good local people. Shouldn't even get one star!! The BAYVILLE POSTAL SERVICES establishment has got to go, or make some major changes. I should've listened to my wife and not go there, it was close, but not convenient. The experience I had there was unreal. I help a friend of mine who has MS, he can't do much at his stage, he depends on a wheel chair and can't drive, so I try to help as much as I can. I also have a lot of health issues, but at least try to help. Long story short, at 12:45pm I go there with packages I need to get estimated for him (I also have PSA, a broken hip, and my 9-month-old baby with me, it was an extremely painful day). I let a few customers go ahead of me because I didn't want to hold them up. I bring one of the packages to the counter with a zip code, ask Kathy for an estimate so I can tell my friend how much it would cost for delivery, she said she needs a full address, I said OK. So, I carry everything back to the car, with the broken hip and baby, called my friend to let him know. Drove around town because the baby was getting restless. I get the full address. 1:40pm. Back to Kathy at BAYVILLE POSTAL SERVICES, I'm still being very patient. I repeat the same thing, go in with all packages, had to wake up the baby while doing so, I also let more people pass me because I didn't want to inconvenience them. (all customers were very nice to my baby by the way) 2:00 pm. I get to the counter and Kathy says "I AM NOT GOING TO WASTE MY TIME GIVING YOU AN ESTIMATE, YOU HAVE TO GIVE ME THE FULL ADDRESS AND PAY FOR IT" without even looking at me in the eyes. I was livid after hearing that! 2:05 Vented, then all back in the car, and I still can't believe what a horrible 'Manager' she is! PLEASE DO NOT GO TO BAYVILLE POSTAL SERVICES!!! There are plenty of nice people close to that place who will appreciate you and your patronage! I also never do things like this, ever! (Complain) I was, and still, am extremely mad. I have always found Kathy very accommodating, helpful, and kind. I was there once when a guy brought in three chrome bumpers from an old model car with the mailing address written on the bumpers in black marker. Kathy didn't even bat an eye when she had to balance the bumpers on the scale to find a price for shipping. Kudos to her. read more

Horrible service. I went there because they sent my package as a magazine media service and it was suppose to be first class tracking.. they gave me a copy of label as receipt but ripped off the top corner with price. It was 1.20 they charged me 4.something.. they also charge for the free packing material from USPS. Well anyway my package is in the wrong state very far away and she said I was going to recieve it today according to tracking. I said it's in the wrong state, she told me it doesnt matter they will drive it to me by 12:30 today. It is atleast a 10 hr drive. Lol she just got mad and said what do you want me to do about it.. IDK call and pay the missing postage and maybe tell them you gave the wrong zip or something.. reimburse me the money because the product is very valuable and I will probably have to buy it again for person. I mean do something.. it's clear that Regina is trying to send cheapest service and pocketing the inflated fees.. there was a woman behind me that paid 168 for overnight with FedEx and she was having the same problem. read more
