I can't say how this group went above and beyond to help me. everyone was so nice, professional and polite. my friend Molly recommended Bayway for my home refinancing and I am very pleased with the whole process. Ed responded to my texts and emails almost immediately and answered any questions I had. Fawn, Viana and Kathy were so very helpful. They walked me through the refinance process, helped me with my home insurance and set everything up for my home appraisal. The whole office made me feel like family. I was updated almost daily with what the next step was going To be, they made the whole experience easy. I was purchasing a home attempting to use bayway mortgage group from out of state. I had a job for 2+ years prior to applying for a home in Florida. From a recommendation by my real-estate agent I mistakenly began the process with Bayway. Basic questions required were fumbled, I lost the high paying job I was offered due to "miscommunicaion". I continued to jump through hoop after hoop attempting get the house closed. The last straw with this bayway mess was after being given a letter of employment with a certain hourly rate listed was lead to believe it would suffice with a wvoe once I began job. The loan officer knew the hourly rate wasn't enough but allowed myself to sign an extension agreement putting my 4 digit binder on the line. He knew it wouldn't work but allowed me to throw away the money which put me roughly at a loss of 15000 dollars. I contacted said loan officer and he said it was unfortunate for me. Last month I closed on a beautiful home in the Northwest Florida area with BAYWAY Mortgage as my lender. I chose BAYWAY Mortgage over several other National established lenders which I have leveraged in the past for my banking and financial needs, mainly on the recommendation of my superstar Real Estate Agent, who I trusted without hesitation. Overall, it was a good experience and the process was completed in an exceptional amount of time, from start to finish. I was very pleased with the star line-up of friendly, knowledgeable staff members that were willing to help at every step along the way for the most part. However, the process wasn't without problems, and unfortunately, the problems overshadowed the good work done by those that had worked so hard on making my loan a reality. I won't go into the details of my concerns here, but I have spoken to the owner of the company and many of the staff members, and am confident the issues have been addressed, particularly with the Collateral department. The conversation was heartfelt and genuine, and I appreciated the opportunity to share my thoughts on process improvement. The bottom line is this: In a process involving hundreds of thousands of dollars and sometimes millions, where multiple departments and organizations must be synchronized for one positive outcome, someone (Process Owner) must be in constant contact with all the critical components (participants) to ensure they come together at the right place and at the right time (Closing). Everyone involved must be held accountable for his or her part. That is the only way for the entire process to work.
