Red haired dentist asked why and I reluctantly explained that i was in a bad car accident and had 7 surgeries in 7 months . He told me he needed to take 2 "small " x-rays so he could see the plaque on my teeth. Was going to get a new crown for 1400- they still used fluoride even though I called ahead - cancelled my crown and went to another dentist- Never had a dentist debate me on x-rays and wasn't aware nor do i care if x- rays show plaque. I should have got up and left .

Long story short, Dr. Allen was amazing! As frustrated as I've been with my original dentist it was refreshing to hear honesty and what was the best for my dental health. Dr. Allen and his staff were wonderful. Although his office is far from my home I'd still go back. When you get quality care the distance (for me) doesn't matter. I had to have a root canal and they wanted to wait a day and assess everything because they really didn't want me to loose a tooth. I was so over it (lol) but I'm glad I didn't allow my emotions to override what was best. I just loved how they handled me. From the moment I walked in to the time I was in his chair they were great. I had to come back the next day but it was all worth it! Thank you Dr. Allen and staff for providing great service and care! Although I HATE the dentist you made the experience bearable. One of the employees(I think maybe Brooke was her name) stated that she was going to call the mother of the patient to tell her about the phone call and went on to express her opinion regarding the fathers role in the child's life which I found to be extremely inappropriate and out of line. The entire interaction was one of the most unprofessional conversations I've heard between two coworkers and if I was the father on the other end of that phone call I would be pulling my child from this practice immediately.
