Some tried to dazzle me but then kept adding on fees while others didn't even seem to want my business. Some were wanting me to wait way too long for the finished product and then there were those who were always putting me on hold. In the end, the decision was clear, McNamara signs was reasonably priced, an independent business and had excellent customer service. The process was very easy. You pick out the style you want and add feet if you want them. I think it's best to go with a plastic or wood and we chose the wood. They laid the artwork I supplied over it and it came out exactly like the image I had. The colors matched perfectly and it really looked better than some of the older signs we got from other places. Now it was a bit of a drive for me to get there but it was totally worth it. And the best thing of all is that they have a dog in the shop! I wish I would have brought my pug with me so he could have said hi! McNamara signs does quality work fast and their customer service was perfect! I'll definitely be back when I need more signs.

She also asked if I needed stakes and those little follow up questions that made the whole process so seamless. I sent in the art work I had but it was lacking the polish and high res images needed. Luckily Caitlin helped point me in the right direction and looped in graphic designer, Mikayla. I have to say- I use to work with Project Managers and graphic designers in my previous job and if I was still in that role, Id try to recruit Mikayla and Caitlin. They will hang it for you for a cost, but I had a friend who hung it for me instead. I would have another sign made by them in a heartbeat! All being said, its also on the buyer (me, you, etc) to know what you want and basically have your design ready - that helped the process. The total job I went in for was to print two color photos in 11x17" glossy pictures. Total cost was under $2.00. You read that right. You can't even buy a cookie for that price anymore!. This is the service I got for my 2 bucks. I brought in a frame I got at Goodwill, but did not think to disassemble it and clean the glass. Mesfin graciously took the stubborn brackets off the back, exposed the glass, took off the sticky price tag that was stuck on the glass, and Windexed both sides of the glass. He then unscrewed the thingy that you hang the picture to the wall which was attached to the back if the picture was to hang vertically. My picture needed to hang horizontally so he reattached the thingy so I could hang it properly. They printed both pictures in color which I sent to them via email. Then put the one in the frame and the other in a bag for me to take home and put on my refrigerator. Yes, I'm obviously a VIP. Haha. They are still in business after many years so my little job is not paying the rent. Wouldn't it be a wonderful world if all businesses had such customer service? Please don't go online to get your graphic design, web design, or printing services. Support this fantastic local business.
