The duck confit was thinly applied, rich and bacony. I loved the flavor and the portion was perfect. The chicken salad had cubes of chicken breast in a light mayo sauce with veggies cut in. Very tasty. The salmon was generous in portion with a lovely appearance. Of course the star of the show was the sturdy brown bread that carried the ingredients. I tried other breads around town and have yet to be disappointed with any. The service was excellent and our waiter friendly and helpful in English. I truly enjoyed this rustic gem and plan to return again while in Avignon.

The server just left the bottle and beckoned us to help ourselves--and there was no charge for it on our bill at the end of the meal either.
