That said, while filling my car with gas I was quite intrigued with the apparent effort to emulate the feel of an American diner, so I tried it. Generally a sincere effort particularly for such a remote location. The interior has a toned down James Dean diner (in Prague) feel which is appreciated. The place was full so the sound of other people chatting and eating added a friendly feel. I ordered a Jack Daniels Burger that came stacked with a very familiar look, from top to bottom. The plate had a sufficient scattering of fries to embrace the burger. Too big to bite into it was necessary to use a fork and knife. Burgers should be eaten with the hands so ironically this was a bit of a disappointment. Flavor of everything was fine. However, the burger was too dense, thick and fine grained; more like Czech meatloaf than a burger. It was also cooked through which was a disappointment, suggesting that it was baked before and then put into the bun on order. Not sure if I will stop again, but if you are hungry, it is a good place to stop.

This was a light soup and great starter. For the meal I had the pork with potato pancakes and cabbage. The pork was tender and the potato pancake was a little salty but combining both the pancake with the pork gave it a good balance. I'm not a big cabbage person and this was one of the more light tasting cabbages I've had. For dessert I feel in love with the buchty it had a similar flavor profile to like a toasted French toast in my opinion. Cinnamon and fluffy but toasted on the outside. The drink I had blueberry lemonade was so refreshing .
