When I saw this place only had 3 stars I initially passed on it, but we couldn't find another restaurant that was open on a Sunday afternoon and came back. I don't know why the other rater gave just two stars, but we had a fantastic experience. The food was authentic and locally sourced Czech favorites, and they had one of the town's regional beers on tap. We sat on the large deck out front with blue skies and sunshine. The service was friendly, prompt, and offered us German language menus. The nearby town square was hosting a community concert, so we even had live music! read more

Need to mention teo important facts first: this restaurant is part of hotel Aplaus and its address is not shown correctly on Yelp - look for Santovo square, not Smetanovo. Meals were delicious, quality corresponding with premium price tags - the cook is apparently experienced. The waitresses are pleasant, but not as experienced. The venue - especially the tetrace - very nice. Overall, good experience, we'd probably come back when visiting.

This is a very nice restaurant. I'd really recommend it to families with children, who could enjoy…read morethe time here, because there is something like a farm with real goats and wildpigs in the area of the restaurant. The area in general looks fine. The service was quite good, eventhough we had to wait for them more than I'd preffer. The food was delicious though! The prices are a bit higher, than you expect in the Czech Republic, but the quality of the food is way better, than you would expect in this country. I recommend the great meat. They also serve great fish. In general this restaurant deserves to be visited. I rate this place with 4 stars.
