Then I met one of workers who helped me out and gave me a wealth of knowledge about everything from whiskey to sake. I wish I would've grabbed his name, but unfortunately I didn't. Although it is a bit pricier than the states, there were some pretty good sales going on. Plus the store is super organized and offers everything from local Canadian Staples like Molson Canadian beer, craft beer from local breweries, whiskey's and sake's and everything in between. Only downside is a bit lacking on the mixers. Highly recommend coming here.

The store was extremely clean and inviting, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly (unlike some of the liquor stores in the US). Liked the layout of the store - for its small size, it felt 'open' and easy to get around, with product shelves well-signed, and offerings nicely-displayed. Not un-expectingly, I found prices on the 'higher' side for products I'm used to purchasing here. I found the staff to be quite knowledgeable about the products that they had available. If you're not sure, just look at the staff picks by name on the shelves, and ask that person for help. I was able to pickup a few great Scotches here that aren't typically available at BC Liquor stores.

Just watched a terrible display of customer service play out in this liquor store. ( I was in the…read moreline) A customer / lady was at the cashier and when the cashier just stood there saying nothing and looking blankly at her, the lady made a joke (something about saying hi , and working at a store) the cashier tried to insinuate that the lady had been drinking and when the lady laughed said she had been at the pub and had a few drinks. The cashier then asked if she had been drinking "a lot"..... The lady then realized from the hostile tone of the cashier that she was being accusatory and asked if she could just buy her beer and go please. When I got up to the cashier I noticed that she didn't say one word to me.... I'm not expecting high quality customer service engagement...... but at least a semblance of pleasantries when you are the face of a business... New to the area and learning slowly what places to AVOID.
