Great reliable, friendly service. They were on time and quick. Furniture was damage free!

We have used this company three times. We were satisfied the first two times but this team (three…read moreguys) that showed up were S-L-O-W and untrained. The driver stayed on the truck (arranging things). They charge by the hour. Things got damaged. The move one year ago cost 1,800.00 and one year later they charged 3,200.00. They offed me 21$ compensation for the night stand that was destroyed. Damage was done to the house we moved out of. I would not use this company again and I would not recommend them.

The truck was very late, arriving at 8pm at night, and was much smaller than they said. It was too full to take all our stuff. They were therefore only able to take half our stuff. The driver was worried about being overweight for his insurance, so said he wouldn't stop at the scale. Our stuff was never weighed. The receipt shown had no location or date. It wasn't our fault the truck didn't have enough space. We were the last pick up and the other people had more stuff than they expected, plus they sent a smaller truck, but we were chargecharged twice for all the extra surcharge fees (fuel, ferry, hotel, etc). They couldn't get a second truck to us in time, so they charged us to pick up and transfer the second half of our stuff. They quoted $400 but charged us $800. Our belongings were then loaded onto another truck to travel to BC. This truck broke down, so the second half of our belongings were transferred a third time to yet another truck. No inventory was taken, nothing was tagged, in a truck with other people's stuff. We're missing two big bags of clothes (literally all of the clothes I owned, thousands of dollars worth) and we ended up with someone else's camping gear. Many pieces of furniture were damaged, including a large antique cabinet whose leg was broken off and badly repaired by them. It was left upside down in our storage locker due to the damage. Our 65" TV was falling out of the box they had packaged it in using one piece of tape. They told my senior mother who was helping us that they charged $400 extra because they didn't like her. In all, the move that was quoted for $3000-$4000 cost closer to $7000. We paid for their mistakes. Total scam. These guys need to be held accountable. DON"T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID.

Yes 9 hours late of the original booking time. No apologies. A to B said they have experience with moving. I don't think so! They should either have proper estimates or planning or better management. This is unacceptable. An hour late, I get but 9 hours late is extreme. The move happened between 9 pm to 1 am. Yes it ended at 1 am. This is an apartment building and it causes lot of disturbance to other tenants as well. Their movers thinks the world evolves around them. No considerations to other tenants. FYI, Jacob and Alonso were amazing!…read more Where do I begin...I paid for a move into one of their lockers for a month. Then they were to bring my belongings to my new place Jan. 2022. They arrived late after letting me know to be there at 10am because 'the guys like to start early', they were 1 1/2 hours late because they had to fill up the truck (on my time). They left after dropping off my stuff and I quickly began to realize that I was missing a bunch of boxes and two shelving units, plus one of the shelves to my lovely hutch. I contacted and spoke with Andrew Foster about locating my belongings, he said, 'he was working on it and he'd have the guys look again in my locker'. I received a text from Andrew with a photo of my family's old truck which one of the items I was so upset about having it 'misplaced'...I was thrilled. But they were still trying to locate all my stuff, so they were going to 'tear a wall down in the warehouse to find the rest?! I learned that when they can't fit everything into the locker, they store it in the warehouse and separate it with 'walls', 'you know moving blankets' he said. What? I paid for a locker, why didn't anyone tell me this or at the very least, make a note on my file as to where they put my other belongings? "They forgot" The remainder of my items were found, 'in his office in an alcove' or something! Finally the 2nd load of my belongings were dropped off and left outside under the cover of deck. So I alone had to move all those boxes and two shelving units into my place. (I have arthritis in my back and Fibromyalgia, I am on disability), no offer was made and still no compensation for this trouble and added stress. Once I had pulled all the boxes in the house, I began to go through them. One of the last boxes I went through was one of my bathroom boxes, the minute I opened it, it was very clear that a rodent had eaten through the box and everything was covered in rodent droppings. I moved it outside and emailed Andrew, both myself and my friend and advocate messaged him because at this point I was livid. He blamed me and said I shouldn't have packed food in my bathroom box (of course I didn't). He distracted the conversation with comments like, 'in all my 15 years of business no one has ever made a claim' and 'I have never know our warehouse to have a rodent problem'. Like I must have made all of this up. He was sent photos, my quote stating I paid for a locker as well as 2 moves. He has refused to pay for any of my items ruined in that rat box. That's the only thing I was seeking, that some of my damaged items be replaced. These items were ruined from not being stored in a locker. I can not afford to replace these items, being on disability and not working at the moment. Just a terrible way to conduct business. I understand that mistakes happen, but how you deal with those mistakes, speaks volumes about the business and the integrity of the owner.

Moved from a four storey apartment building to a two storey townhouse, from Victoria to Duncan BC…read more I have had nothing but bad experiences with movers. Until now. These guys were really great! The lady I spike work on the phone (Nadia) was very thorough with me on the phone and asked lots of questions while building a quote for me. None of the other companies I contacted for this move did that. I had a couple phone conversations with Ross, one of the owners, and he alai came to my place a couple days before the move to get a sense of what they were going to be doing. The crew of three (Kobe, Nick, Chris) showed up on time on moving day and were all very friendly and professional. Ross and the other owner Evan stopped by at one point during the loading to see how things were going. Top notch customer service across the board! The move on at our new place went smoothly as well and my wife and I had to do little more than direct where certain items were wanted. After all was said and done, the final price was right on par with the quote. I cannot recommend this company enough. I hope o don't have to move again for a long time, bit I will 100% be calling these guys again if the need arises!

Firstly, I would like to commend the three people who manged my move. They were very polite,…read morecourteous and efficient. Perhaps most importantly, none of my possessions were damaged as a result of this move - which is a very big plus. However, there are two significant factors which directly impacted the overall quality, cost and experience of this move. My sofa, a down-filled UpCountry couch that cost $3,500 when purchased 17 years ago (now costing roughy $5,000 new), and in excellent condition - did not fit in the elavator. In my 20+ years of moving, this had never happened to me. After spending roughly a half hour of trying to make it fit, the team leader provided three alternatives: 1: pay $100 and they would deliver it to a Salvation Army ("SallyAnn"), 2: try to move it up the stairs to the 4th floor (no one had a tape measure to determine if it would fit); or, 3: it turns out one of the movers was in need of a couch . Of course - I chose option 3, thankful that this unforseen debacle could actually benefit someone. The second important aspect that impacted this move was the significant difference between the quoted price and final charge: there was a $700 difference. I provided all measurements for every item to obtain a quote. The estimate was $1,700. The final charge was $2,400. I should mention that just over one year previous, I moved from Ladysmith to Victoria - with the exact same contents, and a professional mover, and that move cost $1,700, including a 1.5 hour drive from Ladysmith to Victoria (this particular move I am referring to now was a 40 minte drive). I'm not sure what to make of this, seems this company is getting favourable reviews around, but I can't help but think something was amiss in all this.
