Best bar. Dancing and wild crowd. Great bartender. Great drinks and close to all the action.

I always love Be at One and most of my best nights out have been in one of their bars. This was no exception. Happy hour with two for one cocktails is 5pm - 7pm and then if you get the app you can have an hour of two for £10 cocktails. We were in large group and they didn't mind us all using one phone per hour so we had the offer until 11pm which was awesome of course! The cocktails are brilliant. My favourite is the pornstar martini then after a couple of those I moved onto raspberry daquiris. They have a huge selection and make them all fresh so whatever your tastes, there'll be something for you. The music is loud but always good if you love a bit of cheese. They also took some requests! It's the best place to go if you want fun, cocktails and dancing. It's pretty busy so book ahead to get a table or area. We managed to book an area for 18 of us from 6:30pm until midnight and it was brilliant. The other thing I love about Be at One is the staff. I don't know any other bar that has such friendly, welcoming and fun staff. They really add to the experience and atmosphere. read more

My first encounter with Be @ one was when I got invited to a friend's birthday drinks. once at the door, I was asked for my ID - I couldn't believe what I was hearing- I was thrilled ;-) the bouncer really thought I was under 21 of course how can I give a bad review to a place like this ;-) the nice things did not stop at the door, I enjoyed several cocktails, chatted with bar tenders and other customers, and was able to find a chair on a crowded Saturday night. not to forget the cool music they played at this bar. I really enjoyed that night and even though it is not a fancy upscale expensive bar that you have to book a week in advance before you are allowed to get a foot in (which is the sort of places that I gravitate towards); B @ 1 is top on my favourite list. read more

Went on a Tuesday evening and it was busy and LOUD! My friend has the "Appy Hour" app so we were psyched for 2 cocktails for £9.50, only to get to the bar and be told it didn't apply after 10pm. And that if we only showed the app after ordering again next time then he would charge us double(???!). I used to frequent the Hammersmith Be at One and to me, this one doesn't even compare. We couldn't hear each other at all over the too-loud music (though they played awesome songs so that helped!), and the staff were nowhere near as friendly as what we were used to. But as ever, the drinks were an absolute marvel. My Postrel was the cinema in an icecream-based drink :) Irish Disco Biscuit delicious as ever with the Oreo on top, Screaming Orgasm just the right blend of creamy and alcoholic and a more grown-up one called the Bramble was refreshing and fruity! I love this bar and have been on quite a few occassions now. The bar staff are friendly and after your first few visits tend to remember you - they're so friendly in fact that I was in here with my husband once and one of the guys behind the bar bought us a drink!! The music is eclectic and loud and every now and then the bar staff will crank the music up and have a sing along, it's refreshing to see bar staff in London actually enjoying their job!! The cocktail menu is huge, and the cocktails are good, I really love the Strawberry Mojito and during happy hour when it's 2 for 1 it's fantastic value. The place does get packed out so arrive early or reserve an area, although on Friday and Saturday evenings they only reserve areas for groups of 6 or more. read more

Very cool spot! I went a few times during my trip and it never let me down. Their drink specials are great and their bartenders are even better! The friendly atmosphere can suck you in to stay for hours as it did for me! The first time I went I was with a friend and we were lucky enough to be sitting next to the owner so nearly all our drinks were "taken care of". The second time I went, I brought more people which made it even better! They have great music playing in the background and they can just keep those drinks coming as fast as you can knock them back! You can go crazy or just sip a drink at this place, the ambiance has all types of patrons covered. read more

Really cool cocktail bar with a nice 2 for 1 happy hour. My go to drink here has to be the Blueberry Muffin. I don't know how they do it, but they've literally created a liquid blueberry muffin with this cocktail. So delicious, I could drink them all night. Always a good, young crowd with cute and fun bartenders. They like to entertain themselves and others with some tricks. They tend to play pop, feel-good music too. read more

I really liked this place. The staff is friendly, except for one guy (and of course we had him making our drinks, ugh). But everyone else is nice. They play good music a mix of old school & current. The drinks are great, we ordered a hard milkshake (a milkshake with alcohol) and tequila shots. The drink menu was a mini book, filled with what felt like an unlimited amount of choices. Everyone in there seemed to be having a good time. I loved the atmosphere. I am definitely coming here again before I leave back to the states. read more

This place is absolutely evil! The cocktails are far too cheap and may result in copious vomiting. Of course, if you like that sort of thing then you'll be laughing (possibly right down the drain). Other than that, it has a good jukebox, friendly staff and good regular deals. The seating area feels a little cramped however (in that way that venues on corners often seem to) and the atmosphere can get rowdy. One for the young 'uns. read more

Great bar - they do really good 2for1 cocktails (I've put the Happy Hour times in the listing) the service is always quick and friendly, not to mention entertaining when they start mixing their cocktails. It may be a small bar but what it loses in size it definitely makes up for in fun. read more

Awful, awful, awful staff member with blond hair and a beard. Abusive, rude with no thought to customer service. Ended up calling me and my friend a C**T and accusing us of blocking their toilet after my friend complained about a badly made cocktail. read more

This is a fun little bar in central London. They do a great happy hour with 2for1 cocktails. I have always arrived here early doors but I imagine it gets pretty busy and there are not many places to sit so you may end up standing in the middle of the room. The bar staff do lark about a little bit but they are friendly which is more than I can say for many of the bars in Central. read more

I had a table booked for a Joe Allen burger Monday and we were a little early and the wife spotted this at the end of the road "Oh look, a cocktail bar" so i got dragged in there, and being a beer monster i was i little peeved that there was no beer on tap (that i could see) but i thought hey, what the hell, i'll roll with it and i'm glad i did, the bartender was very enthusiastic and helpful which was a plus, so the wife went for a sloppy bum or something along those lines, and i went for a manly Sazerac, and have to say, i'm converted, really nice cocktail, the wife enjoyed her's and expressed that we must come back for one of there happy hours, and i'd have to say i agree with her, so heres to B@1 *raises glass* read more

I went here last night. The music is late 90s/00s so if like me you were a child in the 90/00s you'll be filled with instant nostalgia. It was busy but not too busy were you couldn't get to the bar. We only stopped for a quick drink, grasshopper and whiskey sour but they were perfectly made. The barmaid had good banter, we joked about the manliness of me having the grasshopper and the girl I was with having a whiskey sour. If you guys haven't had a grasshopper I recommend it, it tastes just like after eights and if you're really naughty you can get it with a scoop of ice-cream too. Tip for you guys: download the free 'bar at one' apps (all phones). There's a section in the 'happy hour' part called 'your appi hour' this allows you to get 2 drinks for the price of £9.50 for the next 60 minutes (there's a literal countdown on your phone the barman will give you a code to start the countdown). This is really useful as you can use it at anytime of the day. I used it yesterday at 8pm so it works perfectly. read more

Did a little pit stop here a few weeks ago on my way back to the train. We were looking to grab one more drink and stumbled upon crowds of people spilling out into the streets drinking so we decided to join the fun. Cocktails were good and if I recall correctly it was an espresso martini! Crowd is kind of young and the guys were a tad mouthy, but it was fun for a quick drink on the go. read more

Just stopped by for happy-hour drinks before heading to the Lion King Musical. Happy hour is from 4-7, and its 2-for-1 which is an awesome deal, and the drinks were not watered down (which I find is standard with some happy hour specials)! THere is an extensive cocktail menu, i can't begin to list everything but its tasty. Great spot for happy hour, large selection of cocktails though most are aimed at those who like to taste fruit juice and sugar rather than booze. This aside the staff are enthusiastic and are usually happy to tweek to your taste. It gets (obviously) very busy during the happy hours when I think value for money you would be hard pressed to find anywhere as cheap & chirpy. read more

Have to give this place five stars really. It has a menu of cocktails about 30 pages thick, and between 5-8pm you get two for the price of one yes please. The bar staff are friendly and professional and the service was pretty fast when I was there. Comfortable seats and nice decor. Definitely worth a visit. The mango mojito is worth trying. read more

If you're looking for a quiet night out, this isn't the place for you. Movies aimed at teenagers that show 20-something going out and having crazy times on the town probably had this place in mind (I went for a friend's birthday). The music is too loud, people somehow manage to dance despite it being too crowded to make your way to the toilet, and every once in a while there's a mass sing-a-long while the overly touchy-feeling bartender gets up and dances on the bar. They do have a huge selection of cocktails at Covent Garden prices, but their two-for-one happy hour is a rather good deal. And they are pretty decently sized. Personally, this place is my idea of hell, but I don't think I'm their target market and the friends I was with all seemed to really enjoy themselves. But they lose points for their barman having zero concept of personal space. Also, you might be uncomfortable there if you are older than 25. read more

This is a truly great place to go. A regular haunt of mine for about three years now I have introduced all my friends to this place and they love it (almost) as much as I do. The happy hour and amazing drinks menu are a killer combo (try to make sure you're their early to grab seats, or failing that you can ring and reserve them), but what really makes this place worth it for me is the friendly staff who (almost) always remember your name after the third visit, and the amazingly eclectic music - singalong is almost inevitable after the third (or do I mean sixth - do you count the amount you drank or the amount you paid for?) cocktail. A friend and I stumbled across this little bar just by chance, and it looked like the people inside were having a good time, from what we could see through the windows. Then we opened the door, and everyone in the place (EVERYONE) was doing the time warp. So we realised we'd found our spiritual home. The staff are really friendly and skilled at mixing, happy hour is great of course but one of the best aspects is the "appy hour" feature - download their app for free, and you get a personal happy hour on your phone, so you don't have to be there super early! Best concept I've ever heard of. Their cocktails are also fabulous, with a combination of classics and originals. It is a very small space and is usually packed, but the atmosphere more than makes up for it! read more
