I have been to this boutique for awhile now and I love it more each time I'm in!…read more Today it was the top priority on my agenda besides getting coffee! I came in with a mission to find leather pants for going out tonight. I looked around and saw more seasonal summer selections so I figured I'd ask. Carrie went downstairs and came back up with a wife selection of leather pants all 50% off too! I found the pair I tried before but didn't buy due to the price being a little high. But I got them and she accomodated my 2 year old with coloring and stickers. When you shop here you are treated like a queen! Thank you ladies for styling me again!!!

The shop is reminiscent of cute boutiques on Bellevue Ave in Newport, RI or in the Hamptons, and is chock full of cute clothes, fun accessories, and adorable gift items. I had a lovely time perusing the racks upon racks of gorgeous and trendy pieces, and even though the full priced items were.. pricy, the sale selection was excellent. I often find that boutiques will put less than appealing items on the discount rack, but that's not the case at Bliss! Even though I didn't get any new clothes this time around, I'll definitely consider it for next time. What I did end up getting was an amazing enamel necklace that looks like a Ouija board planchet. My boyfriend, who is such a good sport to sit on a comfy couch whilst I shop, actually purchased it for me, and at $15, it was an affordable and super sweet present. I was joking that of course I found the only vaguely goth item in this bubbly and effervescent shop! The salesgirl, Ali, was great and very friendly as well, and made shopping at Bliss a total delight. My first visit here may have been loooooong overdue, but it certainly won't be the last!

Bassy saved my wedding dress and my wedding day!…read more I had originally gone to another tailor recommended by the boutique where I purchased my strapless princess gown. Unfortunately, the work done at the other tailor's shop left my dress butchered. When I realized something was wrong with the original tailoring, it was two months before my wedding. I was distraught because I didn't think a new tailor would take me due to the limited time before my wedding and it being right before bridal and prom season. However, someone recommended I contact Bassy and I'm so grateful for their rec! Bassy listened to my concerns regarding my dress and what the other tailor had planned to do to it, advised me to take back my dress straight away, and booked me for an appointment ASAP. Within a week Bassy had me in her shop to assess all the damage that had been done by the previous tailor: (1) the hem was uneven by inches; (2) the train was lopsided; (3) the bustle was just a loop and a button that would be visible and unsecure; (4) the bodice was taken in so much that three people were needed to zip me up, which (5) left the zipper of my dress straining and puckering; (6) so much of the bust was trimmed away that my chest was exposed whenever I moved; and (7) they made a sash instead of the custom shawl I ordered for my ceremony. The worst part about the original tailoring work is that so much fabric was cut away there was barely any fabric left to correct the shoddy work. My dress was in really horrible shape and I knew I wouldn't be able to find or order another dress in time for my wedding. Despite the multiple problems with my dress, Bassy assured me she would find solutions for the above issues and she did! Bassy evened out the dress' hem by rehemming it and removing a portion of its petticoat to ensure it kissed the floor evenly. For the train, she adjusted it so it would be symmetrical and less oblong. It looked gorgeous trailing behind me as I walked down the aisle. The bodice was a tricky fix, but Bassy executed it perfectly! To expand the bodice, she needed extra fabric and found it within the seam allowance of the bodice's panels. She undid every panel, let out a little bit of fabric from each, and carefully stitched the bodice back up so that each panel was even and proportional. She was able to expand the bodice while also making it look like it hadn't been deconstructed. Bassy's work allowed me to properly breath while wearing my dress and my mother was able to zip me up by herself with no trouble! Bassy also created a custom shawl for me that looked like something Audrey Hepburn would wear! The attention to detail is so incredible! Bassy made the shawl so there was a slight curve in the front that elegantly hugs my collar bone. I love this shawl so much I plan to continue wearing it for special events. The most incredible fix Bassy made to my dress is the bust. I thought I'd have to wear my shawl the entire wedding. Instead, she came up with the incredible idea to build up the bust of my dress with additional fabric. The original bust had a cat eye neckline with draping across it. Bassy was able to expand the bust above my chest and next to my underarms to give me more coverage. She did this by building up fabric that mimics the original bustline's shape. The final result is beautiful! No one would ever know that the work Bassy did was not part of the dress' original design. I'm incredibly grateful for the amazing and transformative work Bassy did to my dress, her professionalism, her expert advice, and her direct and honest communication. She always set realistic expectations and provided alternative solutions that would not compromise the integrity of my dress or its overall style. Bassy is also just a lovely person to be around. I was really sad about the state my dress was left in by the previous tailor. With each visit to Bassy's (and she booked me for as many as needed to get my dress perfect), I felt better and more confident. Bassy saved my dress, my wedding, and my peace of mind. THANK YOU BASSY!!!

Bassy hemmed several pairs of pants, took in the waist on others, and completely altered a vintage dress for me. The dress needed extra room, and she expertly removed the belt and expanded the side seams so seamlessly that you would never be able to tell any alterations were made. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are absolutely unbelievable. Bassy is truly a talented artist, and her work speaks for itself. If you need tailoring or alterations done right, I cannot recommend her enough. Absolutely exceptional work!

Found this coin zippy wallet in this blue Epi using the Tradesy app. Wow what a steal I price I got this item for. This piece retails $430 brand new, and this piece I got for $135. The pics on tradesy did not do it justice. The leather had no cracks, and a minor boo boo here and there on the outside but over all this piece is in pretty good condition for being made in 2013. It's 6yrs old plus now. Super happy with the item, the purchase and this company! Thanks for the a smooth transaction and super fast shipping. I'll have to check you guys out again!

I am not well endowed in that area so this was difficult for me to feel feminine in that dress. He was able to recreate the top of the dress and made me feel fabulous. He is the owner and I believe works with one other person but does a lot of his own business. Dress took about a week and looked great. I got married in 2013 (june) and bought my dress at a shop in Syracuse NY. I ended up paying HUNDREDS of dollars on alterations for this dress at this shop because again, the bust was a HUGE issue. After three different times of me driving 6 hours each way to get this fixed not to my liking, I said in the back of my mind I should have gone to Michaels in the first place, I ended up taking my dress to him. Upon walking in, he remembered the wedding i Was in 3 years prior which was nice. I also didn't give him too much of a background of what I didn't like about my dress. I told him I have had it altered 3, times and I am not happy, and he knew my wedding was in 2 weeks (right around prom season). I knew he was squeezing me in, even though he never made me feel like this was impossible. As soon as I put the dress on, and came out of the dressing room, he knew EXACTLY what was wrong with the dress without me telling him. This made me immediately feel better. It was a little difficult, as the top of my dress had a bunch of lace on it, he had to rip it apart right in front of me, in order to make the bust line tighter, and he HAND SEW all the lace right back on. Swear, you would have had no idea this was done looking at the dress. He had the dress done in a few days. To top it off, doing this last minute, squeezing me in, and ripping apart a wedding dress to hand sew it back together, he charged me 50% less than 1 of the 3 previous alterations I had before. Honestly, I will never go anywhere else. He knows his stuff. He may not wear a suit, or have a very outgoing personality, but he is passionate, caring, and wildly skilled.

Took care of a simple repair for me in the middle of what looked like a busy day. Great friendly…read moreservice, highly recommended!
