After multiple rounds of alterations, the seamstress finally explained that the alterations recommended by Alexandra's Boutique were not actually possible for this particular dress. By this point, my fiancée was devastated--and because of this shop's harsh no-return policy, we were left out thousands of dollars. She was literally in tears and had to go to another bridal shop, where she found a completely different dress that she felt far more comfortable and confident in. Instead of feeling pressured into a purchase, she felt listened to and supported. What makes this experience particularly frustrating is that the issue could have been avoided if the limitations of the dress had been honestly communicated before the sale. A wedding dress is an enormous purchase, and customers deserve accurate information--not high-pressure sales tactics followed by a policy that leaves them with no recourse when the promised alterations turn out to be impossible. I cannot recommend this establishment. In fact, based on our experience, I would actively caution anyone I know against shopping here. If you're considering purchasing a wedding dress from this shop, I strongly recommend getting independent confirmation that the alterations being promised are actually possible before handing over thousands of dollars.

Not only was my bridal consultant super patient during my first appointment- I never felt rushed or pressured, but Linda and my consultant were extremely accommodating. They had no problem when we came back a second time, minute before closing to show my future mother in law the front runner and even opened early so that we could come back to buy the dress before I flew home. We went to a couple of other shops just so that we didn't feel like we were "settling" but we kept coming back to the dress, and did not experience the same level of customer service any where else. I had easy experiences with the alterations and could not have been happier with my dress. I felt like Linda communicated with me through out the process and helped to make it seamless and stress free. This place is small and cozy and there are definitely a lot of options for every budget, highly recommended.
