Deanna is so inspiring, personable, fit, and really knows her stuff. Her home studio is so comfortable and peaceful and she has fantastic equipment. My Mother and daughter and sister do private lessons and have seen amazing results from just a few weeks of instruction - leaner, longer muscles, better posture and less back pain, and she has helped me build strength in my core after having 3 children. Feel free to bring your own yoga mat but they got you covered if you forget it. Also LIM supplies each class with yoga accessories to use at your liking (think: block, blanket). The space is super chill with yoga instructors who know what they are doing but also won't judge you if you don't know what in the world a Savasana or an Asana is ( yes I just googled those terms). I really enjoy my cardio but it is good to take a moment to just be and chill. LIM definitely sets the bar for allowing you to take some time and reflect while focusing on challenging moves. If you like yoga this is DEFF the place for you. If you're like me and feel hesitant to go because you like your spinning, running, HITT, or whatever it may be - JUST GO anyway - taking 1 day out of your week to break from the norm and really focus inward makes a difference. It's taught by Michelle on Thursdays and I believe a few other times. I went at 7:30pm. It was beautiful. Slow, but purposeful flow in a gorgeous venue on the West Side. It was exactly what I needed and just writing this review I'm thinking about how much I need to go back to something like this right now. We all need to slow down a little. Shakti Yoga helped me accomplish that. I look forward to more trips back.

I mean, Hip hop makes me want to dance, the latin just didn't really. The staff was nice, and were easy to work with. Overall, it was a good place, just not the right fit for me.
