Dr. Urban is very receptive and, unlike some therapists, he doesn't just listen; he actively chimes in with questions that are difficult but important. He also encourages patients to be accountable for themselves and will not let you off the hook easily if you aren't doing things that you know are in your best interest. Dr. Urban has also been awesome about not letting my spouse off the hook for destructive actions (which led to a bad google review from an angry husband), but nevertheless Urban is professional and very interested in the well-being and safety of his clients. His office is welcoming and the receptionist at Murphy Urban is always friendly.

She just walked out of the room and said nothing. Found out she gave me a psychiatric diagnosis (which she is not qualified to do). Went to my family doctor who did an MRI which showed Arachnoiditis of the spine. Explains the symptoms. Got a new Neurologist and received proper care. In my opinion don't go to this doctor. I can't believe Union Hospital has her!

After a complete shoulder replacement performed by the surgeons at OrthoIndy in 2013 their staff…read morestressed that my recovery would be greatly dependent upon my post-surgery therapy. Since OrthoIndy was aware that Terre Haute had a very respectable orthopedic rehab clinic I decided to stay local rather than to use the therapist close to the OrthoIndy hospital. It was a great move as the care, attention and education I received from Ashim Bakshi and his staff could not have been better. Following their instructions and regimen to the letter my recovery remains such that my mobility is near to that of my God-given shoulder. You can't beat that! Bottom line is that when it comes to rehabilitation, you get out of it what you put into it. Choose your mentors carefully just as we have; we have returned to Ashim Bakshi and his staff to help my wife's recovery from a broken neck (C2) incurred in a recent auto accident. We're in good hands.

I said we had just moved to Indiana and she said we would need to come into the office to fill out a new patient form, they would request my files, the doctor would review them and decide if we were a good fit. No first appointment for at least six weeks. So unprofessional and unfriendly! We have found a lovely doctor a few miles away who has a friendlier and more professional front office.
