By far the most underrated, healthy food place in Birmingham. I had their smoothies and their food for the first time and it was absolutely amazing. This review is based on their juice cleanse only... My husband and I did a juice cleanse and they made it super easy! We did a 3 day juice cleanse, which is 5 juices per day, so 15 total for each of us. They also added on a shot of wheat grass per day for both of us also. They had everything packaged nicely ready to go. All the juices and shots come in glass bottles, which is great! The juices tasted great and I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking into doing a juice cleanse. They have great service too! read more

While the food is very good and fresh, the service is incredibly slow. There were at least 5 people working in the cafe at the time I ordered and I waited 45 minutes. I ordered a smoothie that came out within 10 minutes and a bagel sandwich that came out 40 minutes later, after finishing the smoothie. There was no apology or gratitude for my patience. They claim they were experiencing a "rush" of customers but the line was only about 6 people long and I was the first to order but somehow the last to leave. read more

No, my first time here and I did not learn anything new. Literally spent 10 minutes with the doctor. Minor adjustments and then sat on the motorized bed. The bill came as $395 total for literally a 10 minute appointment. Like I said, I learned nothing new so what exactly am I paying for? An expert with expert education to exam me? They tried to get me to come back for a mandatory follow-up appointment but I knew better that they would try to bill me again for something they could have done the first time. Even if my insurance would cover it, the pricing is outrageous for the services they offer. I called other places and was quoted at $80-$150 out of pocket for an hour appointment! Mind you, this place literally spent 10 minutes with me. They entice you with "free consultation" or "free massage" but that actually means nothing. I'm not impressed with the skill, experience, or handling of this place and did not have a good overall impression. Included in the charge is $60 for hot/cold packs application. This never happened. They will not disclose the charges to you so do your due diligence before making the same mistake I did. read more

You honestly MUST have a smoothie bowl from Be Well. It is the best we've ever had. We always do the açaí chocolate bowl with a couple modifications: add chocolate protein, sub almond milk for apple juice, and sub the gluten free granola. We aren't gluten free but I'm telling you: it is the way to go! Crunchy, sweet, delicious granola. This is one of our favorite weekend treats! You can even order online and then drive in for pick up. Everything is very clean and organized, too! We always have a great experience here and I cannot recommend their cafe enough! read more

Be Well is a gem. I haven't tried any of their services, but I plan to soon and will update my review. I come in often to get a tropical pitaya bowl. You get a healthy portion and the staff is awesome. I cannot day enough good things about them!! They offer many different bowls, smoothies, and some pre made goodies. They also just recently started selling coconut cult, which is a fabulous probiotic yogurt. After three visits, I can confidently say that Be Well makes the BEST açaí bowls around (at least the entire length of the I-75 corridor... had a fairly good one in Naples recently.) Not Only is the staff kind and professional, they treat their customers and one another, like friends and family. Something that is highly underrated in society today. Looking forward to experiencing more of their services (like a massage... ) in the future. This place is a raw vegan and holistic health person's dream! It's an all in one spot for holistic health, raw vegan cuisine, massages, cleanses, and even physical therapy! It's everything you need to live a preventative health and sustaining health lifestyle! I personally have never used any of their health services, but they definitely draw me in with their smiling front desk staff and sincerely concerned medical staff. If I ever did need the services they offer I would definitely come here for that! What I do come here for is their smoothies, smoothie bowls, acai bowls, pitaya bowls, and raw vegan snacks and cuisine! All of their bowls are super full of flavor and topped with whole fruit, granola, coconut, and cacao nibs. The menu doesn't offer smoothie bowls, but I always ask to turn my smoothie into a bowl with toppings, and they do so without a problem! Most of their raw vegan cuisine is already prepped and in a to-go container. They include raw kale salad with tahini dressing, raw lasagna, and Mexican salad with corn. Their raw vegan desserts include mock Twix dessert, strawberry cheezecake, and chocolate cheezecake. Their snack bar contains a large variety of foods from raw vegan prepped snacks to bulk foods and fruit. Some of the snack counter items include raw vegan crackers with savory flavors (like jalapeño cheddar), raw vegan fruit roll ups, raw vegan macaroons (with peanut butter jelly, chocolate peanut butter, and lemon lavender flavors), raw granola, raw protein powder, and bananas. They also have shot elixirs (like wheatgrass shots, turmeric ginger shots, etc.) that are super powerful for healing. They offer juice cleansing programs, so I'm sure they would make you a juice if you wanted, but I don't really see them in the fridge or in the menu. They've been super flexible and open about menu options in the past, so there's no doubt that you will find something here if you love eating raw, living, colorful, and vibrant foods! Another plus about this place is when I am trying to live and eat super clean and healthy, but I can't make it in because I'm drowned in work, they deliver to me! I have asked them how far out they deliver and they said Troy and Birmingham, but depending on the busy-ness of their day, they could make it out a little farther. This place is amazing! Was having painful back problems and couldn't bear it anymore during a Sunday breakfast. Found this place on yelp and they took me in within hours and Dr. Silvio eased my pain. It was my first time visiting a chiropractor so I didn't know what to expect but he educated me on what was going on and gave me a great adjustment. Had a few adjustments and I'm now pain free. Also, Amber is one of the best receptionists and friendliest girls I've ever met. Very professional and so down to earth. Such a great person to have in their office. Hands down the best açaí bowl I've ever tasted, I've been getting them for years, but I just tried one of their egg white wraps for the first time, and it exceeded my expectations, will definitely be ordering that again! I just have to say that their smoothies are the best around, everything tastes so great of course, but they fill their smoothies with the actual ingredients rather than make half the smoothie out of ice, like almost any smoothie chain place! Went in to see what services they had. Wow! Everything from superfoods, to PT, cleanses, acupuncture, chiropractic, laser and massage therapy. Ibolya was my massage therapist. She's European and she gave me some tips for detox and was THE BEST therapist for massage I've ever had. She knew what muscles to target and was expert in kinesiology. I left feeling so relaxed and able to walk better and had a "Healthy" green juice on the way out. Insurance fraud! They billed my insurance $500+ for services I DID NOT RECEIVE. I then go up to the office and speak to the owner and he literally lied to my face serval times.When I asked him why they even contacted my insurance at all seeing how I paid out of pocket, he said it must've been a mistake bc it didn't process on His end. I told him I spoke to my insurance I know it processed and that he was lying. He then changed his story and said he only received a partial payment from my insurance. So now all of a sudden he knew exactly what claim it was and how much he received. I only gave them my insurance info bc they said they wanted to check my coverage for future visits. But they really wanted to bill $500+ knowing full well they were committing insurance fraud. Here's an update: AFTER THE OWNER TOLD ME HE WOULD CONTACT MY INSURANCE AND SEND THEM A REFUND, I GET AN EMAIL FROM MY INSURANCE SAYING THAT THE OWNER TOLD MY INSURANCE THAT THE CLAIM WAS VALID. Be very careful they over bill your insurance and if you do not have insurance they over charge you. I just received a $405 bill for two appointments. One of which the machine they charged me $85.00 for was not working. Then had the nerve to charge me again for the same machine when it was not used on my second appointment. I was being lectured about the tension I had in my neck, jaw and shoulders while being put in near excruciating pain...At one point, and I am not overstating this I thought I may loose a molar due to the extreme pressure being put on my jaw. I went in for a massage and was placed with Ibolya, she was a nice lady but horrible massage therapist. She had a I'm in a rush personality and it showed in your massage, I felt like I had a massage from a gorilla in a hurry. She would not let you relax as fast as she was massaging you and even lifting you off the table pulling at you roughly. I was counting down the minutes for it to be over it was so rough and uneasy. Afterwards she went to touch my shoulders telling me I had a lot of tension and I tensed up thinking don't touch me please. I woke up and couldn't even touch my neck it was so torn up from her for two days. I get massages on a regular basis and this is the worst one I have ever had, ever. Beware of Ibolya. read more
