Don't bother going here. I booked a 4:30 PM appointment through their website to register my out-of-state vehicle, clearly noting the purpose. The confirmation instructed me not to arrive until it was approved--mine was. I drove 45 minutes in traffic, waited 40 more minutes once I arrived, only to be told at 5:11 PM they don't process new registrations after 4 PM because it "takes an hour." Then why approve the appointment with those details? Neither their voicemail nor website mentioned this policy. In fact, their site says out-of-state title transfers take 15 minutes. I can only speak to my experience of needing a new replacement registration decal and card. I got their early as I always see a line of people outside waiting, and AM was no exception. The staff buzz people in one at a time so as to not overcrowd the service area. Once I got in and explained what I needed, I was processed for ID and payment and had my replacement in no time. Like many other people have reviewed, I am astonished by how hateful and rude the women who work at this establishment are. I have never been treated so poorly by any other business in my entire life. The women talk over you, raise your voice at you, and most importantly, do not help you. The first time I walked in there, they carried on a personal conversation about "sucking d***" for several minutes before acknowledging me, and then sent me back outside in the Florida heat to wait because I was 5 minutes early to my appointment. In that same visit, i was met with a ton of aggression and when i asked a question, I was met with "you need to learn how to listen, mommy." I literally left the office in tears because I was so offended and angry with how I was treated. I filed paperwork for an out of state tag transfer 6 MONTHS AGO, and I still haven't received any update on my status. I have called several times, and am met with so much hostility and rudeness and no update whatsoever on what is prolonging the process. Instead, I am consistently talked over, interrupted, and even yelled at. At this point, I am seeking a new tag office and am going to lose my money I spent at this establishment. Red head employee has got the nastiest attitude. Ive been in hospitality since I was 16 years on end, I can say with my most honest opinion she got the job but was super rude. I went to Beach Auto Tag Agency to file a notice of sale after selling my vehicle. I was forced to wait 20 minutes outside in the sun. The lady at the desk told me that this form does not remove any civil liability from the car for the seller. When I asked her to explain further. She told me to "get out." I was very confused because I was not being rude, just curious. It's not everyday that I sell a car. I asked her if the form was filed and she said, "yes, please leave." I looked around the room to see if anyone else was bothered by the way she was treating me. Everyone just acted like it was business as usual.
