Pretty good tacos, went on a taco Tuesday so it was actually a really good price. My only complaint is that they didn't give us any water.

The food was not good nor was the price tag. The staff was equally subpar in customer service.

Vegan chickpea tacos were nice, good texture and flavour. I went with two for a light lunch. We also had the flying pig burrito, which delighted the tastebuds with a little kick, but may have not been worth the value for money. We were both let down with the amount of chippage on our plates. If there's one thing that you cannot skimp on, it's the tortilla chips people! Nice outdoor space to sit as well. read more

Just walked in off the street on a Tuesday in school holidays to discover, $3 tacos and kids eat free! Both my fussy eaters ate their kids DIY taco kits and had to have an extra serve of the chicken. Now there is talk that the 6 year old wants to come back here for her birthday dinner! I had the karate, fish, Chilli, pulled pork & beef tacos all where great with standouts being the karate and fish. We had no problems with the staff they where helpful gave good service. We'll definitely be back any day of the week! read more

Burritos were invented to be a fast food. See it's easy; you take some rice, meat, salsa, and cheese and wrap them together. Bondi Burrito is the only place in the world that I have waited over an hour to eat a Burrito. Lesson 1: If you're busy, hire more staff. Lesson 2: Hire more staff. For Bondi socialites that prefer to be seen than to be seen eating, this is a perfect place to hang out with your mates, sip on frozen margaritas, take in a bit of people watching on Bondi Beach. The location is spectacular, but that isn't really a determinate of the establishment. Proceed with caution if you're hungry. If you're not, go for it, you'll have a great time. read more

Looking for somewhere to lunch in Coogee, we'd almost reach the end of their cafe strip and were thus far uninspired. With shop after shop filled with same-same cafes, nothing stood out and begged us to eat there. Pausing to mull over which of the cafes we should revisit, we looked to our left to see a small courtyard that resembled an old open air arcade. Directly in front of us was another of the same-same style cafes, but hidden behind it, screaming to us in splashes of hot pink, orange and turquoise, was Beach Burrito Co. I love themed restaurants and thus I loved the super kitsch decor that brought Beach Burrito Co. to life. With thatched awnings, umbrellas, mosaic cactus statues in vibrant turquoise (a little chipped and worse for wear) and paintings that made skulls look sexy, this place is worth coming to for the theme as much as (if not more than) for the food. For a vegetarian, the extensive use of the word 'pig' in their menu was, whilst somehow endearing, a little off-putting. Otherwise, the menu has a pretty extensive range of burritos, fajitas, quesadillas and chimichangas, as well as their freshly cooked corn chips, which come either in nachos form or as a side with the burritos. Prices are pretty average for the area and they tailor well to kids also, with basic tacos and burritos and plain corn chips. The most tantalising menu item for me was the one thing they didn't have available on the day: "Jalapeno Poppers - Battered jalapenos chillies stuffed with Philly cream cheese served with sour cream and salsa". This one comes with a warning of "they are hot!" I think this place would be good as a summer nights rendezvous venue. A little too warm during the day (they really need to install some mega-huge fans here if they want the lunch crowd), muggy summer evenings would be the perfect backdrop to Beach Burrito Co.'s buckets of Coronas and frozen margaritas. Was hesitant to try this place at first because of its rating, but then we noticed there weren't many ratings so we decided to give it a try. Good thing we took a chance, because Beach Burrito Co. is fabulous. I had the Fried Chicken Taco & the Pulled Pork Taco and both were amazing. We also ordered the chips and guacamole and was super impressed with their unique guac. The atmosphere is also cool, I mean how can it not be with a mini half pipe. Great job guys! read more

I love Mexican foods, it is one of my absolute favourites, the menu at Beach Burrito Co. did not overly excite me as it is largely seafood based, this is not surprising as they are a "beach" restaurant but I prefer more traditional Mexican far. Not all is lost however, as they still offer some of the more standard dishes, so I found satisfaction in a Beef Chimichanga. I like a Chimichanga on occasion, it is probably the most unhealthy thing on the menu, as it is basically a deep fried burrito, but hey it feels good to be bad. I find it oddly interesting too that all the pork meals on the menu are referred to as pig, yet they do not refer to the beef as cow. read more

I realise Beach Burrito Co. is a chain but this would have to be the worst of the lot. The only thing this place has going for it is the decor, though even the seating is a bit mish-mashed. I ordered chicken nachos which I could have done a better job of at home in regards to taste and presentation. The jalapenos helped with flavour but there wasn't a lot of chicken, lots of under-ripe avocado and just random stuff everywhere. The sangria tasted like prune juice and I didn't bother finishing it; doubt there was any alcohol in it at all. My boyfriend ate a boring burrito and his Margarita took at least 20 minutes to come out from ordering it; apparently they had run out of agave and had to cook it but they only told us this once we had asked... perhaps advise your patrons of what is going on so they can choose something else. After all that the margarita was so full of lemon juice/syrup and again, surely no alcohol. Waste of time and money and it was a super boring vibe for a Friday night. I came here couple times with friends and always enjoyed the drinks but the food was only OK. Plenty of seating outside to enjoy some great Mexicans beers. Food there is not really cheap and is not the best at all. I had better Mexican in my life than this. I wouldn't pay that much again for it. Staff didn't look happy that day and the music was really lound and too heavy metal wasn't the music I wanted to listen on Sunday afternoon in Mexican place. Not sure if it was due to my being away from the readily available very authentic and good Mexican food back in North America for months on end but I found this place quite nice! Had their mucho burrito which was the only burrito I've seen for a really long time that was actually a decent size. Although I do have some issue with its price tag - clocking in at $15 (I know Aussie prices are supposed to be pretty outrageous but still..). Overall a very decent place especially when you take into account its location right next to Coogee beach and the lack of Mexican options around town in general. read more

I checked Yelp before going here so my expectations weren't that high but man oh man the burritos here are overpriced and underfilled. So much tortilla and cabbage hardly any meat. Most other Mexican outlets include guac at these prices and decent cuts of meat. Came here with a large group of friends (with a reservation) and the staff did a good job of accommodating a large group. They get points for: Our food came out super quickly. I had chicken and beef hard tacos which were really delicious, especially the beef. The meat was juicy and all the ingredients were in just the right proportions. Other people in my group got burritos and burrito bowls and also enjoyed them. They lose points for: The chips and salsa/guacamole were pretty standard except that there was lime juice on some of the chips that made them get soggy quickly. Also, I'm not sure why a can of PBR is so expensive at this place; it should be one of the cheapest ones on the menu. I would more accurately rate this place with 3.5 stars, if that were an option as we will probably stop by again at some point. read more

I love Mexican food. It's my favourite. I could eat Tacos 'til the cows come home. So I'm always seeking out good mexican food. Beach Burrito Company was recommended to me by a couple of people, so excitedly I checked it out. What a disappointment! Maybe I'm a mexican food snob but this place did not do it for me. My tacos were cold and lacking in flavour, which was disappointing and slightly worrying - how can tacos be cold? My friend ordered the nachos, which were a mess of cold meat, and super oily cheese. I didn't think it was possible to go wrong with nachos but Beach Burrito Company showed me anything is possible. This place has so much potential. Its location and its funky decor could make it the "it place" in Bondi but its food is pretty poor. read more

Excellent place to chill out in the summer, sit under the umbrellas and brightly painted cactus, have some beers, eat some spicy Mexican and then go out. I've been visiting since they opened a few years ago and have unfortunately seen the prices rise - I think it's a bit overpriced for fast food Mexican but I love it anyway. Plenty of options for the carnivore but quite a few veggie options too. My favourite is the chimichanga which is huge! They often have deals during the week so pop in when it's cheaper and try it! read more

The best burrito I've had in straya! Mondays are 15$ meals, which is a great deal for the amount of food you get! And the dude working was such a cool dude. Definitely a new favorite for myself. read more
