Charles Carter of Carter Automotive saved us by coming over early the next morning and towing my dead car to his shop. After over four hours of diagnostic tests and troubleshooting he discovered that the problem was in a sensor that was sending a false report to the computer making it impossible to start. He replaced the sensor and we were on our way to Florida by early afternoon.I can't thank him enough for what he did and the entire service cost me less than $200!! It's crazy convenient being 2 miles from my house too! The owner Mr. DeAtley is an older gentleman that's been in business for a while. Always great at squeezing in for last minute issues. Doesn't try to sell you on repairs and problems that don't exist or that you don't need. Good honest business owner, and in this line of work it's rare. Very, very shady We…read morebrought our car into Colonial Beach Auto for an alignment. After the alignment the car had a bad rattle hence, I brought the car back. I was charged $118.00 and was told we needed a new rim as a rim was bent and that is what was causing the rattle. We purchased a new rim but had to have it installed elsewhere as Colonial Beach Auto was closed for vacation for two weeks. After the new rim was installed elsewhere the rattle still existed and we were told and shown that the right rear knuckle wasn't tightened after the alignment. We paid $125.00 to have to problem fixed. I stopped off at Colonial Beach Auto who is denying they even did an alignment. I was told to email the owner who has never replied.
