Shy was exceedingly professional throughout the entire exchanged and didn't miss a step when switching gears to serve us. She answered all my questions and referred to the mead maker when I had a question about a potential allergy. The beverages were light and refreshing on a warm day, everything and everyone was lovely. They allow dogs on the patio and they offer your 4 legged friend unlimited water and pets. Be aware it's state law to always check ID, don't have your ID? Well that's your problem don't take your incompetence out on wait staff!

Interestingly, mead was common across ancient cultures around the world including those in Asia, Europe and Africa. I have never tried mead until I went to the Trazo Meadery. It was a very new and refreshing experience. I ordered every kind of mead available - two flights of eight different types of mead for $14. My thoughts on each flavor: *Wildflower : forgettable *The Mesquite Mead: smoky earthy woody aroma with the taste of smoked apples - My second favorite! *Orange Blossom: Too sweet! BUT this is the most popular mead! *Wildflower on Bourbon Mead - Taste of Vanilla and Oak with a floral aroma and hints of smokiness. Aged in a bourbon oak barrel - my favorite! #1 *Avocado: the least sweetest The Wild Card of the Mead! Very unique and dry! Smokey and a hint of licorice! You either hate it or love it! My third or 4th favorite. I keep changing my mind. *Brazilian Acacia: too sweet *Eucalyptus: too sweet - the sweetest. My least liked of all the meads. *Wildflower On Rum: my third or fourth favorite - smokey and smooth Lee Ann was my server. She was very friendly and helpful. I love the simple decor and local art work displayed on the walls. The Trazo Meadery was a very unique and new experience. I highly recommend this place for people to sample different varieties of mead at a good price.

I had the House Sampler, which is a great chance to try several different menu items: Lasagna, Chicken Parmesan, and Fettuccine Alfredo. The Lasagna and Chicken Parmesan were excellent--perfectly seasoned and clearly prepared with fresh, house-made ingredients. The Fettuccine Alfredo was good and served as a nice, creamy addition to the plate. My wife had the manicotti and thought it was great; it's definitely a winner if you're a fan of stuffed pasta. What really made the night was our server, Marin. She was great--professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive. We never had an empty glass, our items were served hot and accurate, and she checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything. It's rare to find service this seamless. Between the quality of the house-made dishes and the top-tier service from Marin, we had a wonderful experience.

We had a large party & was able to put tables together to sit together. Our waitress was very friendly & took our drink orders right away. She came back quickly and got our appetizer & main course order. Everyone ordered a lot of different things, but here's what my family ordered: *kids ravioli ($10): my son tore this UP. It was a large child serving but he only had 1 ravioli left in his serving dish. The size of the ravioli was huge! He loved it so much he asked to take the last ravioli home. *kids chicken tenders & fries ($10): came with 5 tenders and very well-seasoned fries. My girls noted how wonderfully seasoned they were. Doesn't come with any dipping sauces but you can ask for some. They just had ketchup for their fries. *($19) kids Alfredo ($11) with added shrimp ($8) : this was the star of the show! I ordered this bc I heard about how large their portions are so I didn't need much. The sauce was thick & sticking to the noodles, not just sliding off which I loved. VERY garlicky, again which I loved, and the shrimp were HUGE. It came with about 6 shrimp and it was PERFECT. I could only eat half of my meal bc I was already full from the complimentary bread/roll I had. I will be back very soon for this Alfredo. *Margherita pizza ($14): I was decent. I love how they have the wood fire grill where you can see them making the dough and the pizza. I was already full by the time the pizza came so I only had one slice. I prob would not order this next time. *gelatos ($15) my kids tried in a cone: strawberry, pistachio & salted caramel.. they all enjoyed them. My friend also ordered a large chicken Caesar salad and said it was very good. It was very large and she took most of it home. Overall amazing service, amazing food, amazing ambiance. Can't complain about anything!

Before Zach was doing everything making drinks, getting food orders, bussing. Also he makes and bakes the food! Drinks & Dessert The drinks were awesome! Happy hour literally its 1hr lol. The drinks are balanced, creative, and delicious. They don't serve full food, only snacks and desserts, but the dessert was a nice touch. The focaccia was delicious it's more of biscuits really fluffy rather than your Italian style focaccia. The dessert are fire! Zach makes them and i love the creativity and they uses fresh in season fruits! Overall Great drinks, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. Definitely worth checking out! To begin, we were pleasantly surprised that our table for 10 was ready as soon as we arrived, expecting to wait a bit for such a large party. Once we were seated, our server Oliver immediately came over to explain the tapas menu and get our drink orders. Tapas are priced $7-$20 à la carte, or you can order different tasting menu tiers based on what your group is hungry for. We ordered the $35 tasting menu (tapas only) and it was more than enough food! We tried the whipped sheep cheese, flank steak, garlic mushrooms, shrimp, patatas bravas, salmon, and more! We also ordered a pitcher of red sangria for the table that was delicious. The incredible food and the attentive service made Barcelona the perfect meal for a group of old friends to catch up. After visiting Barcelona, your wallet might not be happy, but your heart sure will!

Absolutely love this place and have been multiple times, the only reason I can't give five stars…read more.. is reservation system. Incredibly frustrating. What is the point of making a reservation if you are going to be seated 45 minutes after your scheduled reservation time? But if a guest checks in even slightly after their reservation time, they can be removed from the list, charged a fee or, in some cases, even banned from the reservation app. The expectations should go both ways. Unfortunately, the host experience made the situation even more frustrating. I watched the red haired host at the front desk seat people who appeared to be friends ahead of parties who had reservations. I even heard her say, "There's no manager tonight, I'll seat you guys now. They're putting silverware down." Meanwhile , we were still waiting well past our reservation time. Our only saving grace was our server, Shauna. This restaurant needs to hold onto her. She was an absolute light, and her personality, attentiveness, and recommendations completely saved the vibe of our night. She deserves recognition for the experience she provided. We will absolutely come back for Shauna but the restaurant as a whole could really benefit from a new host rotation and a serious look at how reservations are being handled. Don't let your hosts run a little high school hierarchy of seating their friends before reservations and returning locals. If you're going to take reservations, we honor them.

There's nothing flashy or attention-grabby about JJ's, no pomp or pretension. In a market that seems saturated with conceptually whacky cocktail and wine bars, I find the simplicity of JJ's refreshing. If it's chilly outside, JJ's invites you to tuck in from the cold and enjoy a board game. On temperate evenings, this is just the place to pull up a chair on the patio and enjoy a beveragino while you people-watch downtown Franklin's historic Main Street. And, just to cover all my bases, if it's grotesquely hot (as it so often is in TN), JJ's affords you the opportunity to drown your sweaty sorrows in a classy manner. Whatever the occasion, no matter the weather, you can count on comfort & consistency at JJ's - and that is worth every star!

Other reviews mention the same horrible service to anyone who doesn't visit this place regularly. You will be completely ignored. This evening the dining area was nearly empty yet we sat for 15 minutes before our drink order was taken. The mixed drinks are good, fear not. Then we sat for 35 minutes before we were able to attract the attention of a server, after several failed attempts. The board is good and hearty as is the spinach dip. The problem here lies in the subpar service, again and again and again. We really try to refrain from giving local establishments negative reviews, but the sheer lack of attention to anyone not hovering around the bar is ridiculous. At one point I walked to the bar to try to get the attention of our server and it still failed. They never checked on us.
