I posted a 100 percent correct review on them about how they will change the values of your business to suit which ever person in a divorce pays them the most or gives them the most referrals. I tried repeatedly to get answers as to why they increased the business values but in the end no response!! I lost over $400,000 because Julia should have stated this was not her opinion but she was being bullied by the lawyer on the other side . I think this company is great if you have a lot of overhead or are a large company and don't mind the excessive expenses for tax write off purposes. Ended up leaving as an individual this place does not make any sense since it has a base cost over $1,200.00 even with simple taxes. If you need an extension expect to pay half of this again. For the money its best to go elsewhere since the value is not there. Used this company for over 3 years and lets just say after spending thousands of dollars the individual we used was less than stellar. I could not even get off the ground with this firm. At first, the director Dale Walters was very helpful with my inquiries. I quickly learned that my tax situation was more complex than I had realized. But, as soon as I questioned the quoted price (which seemed high to me, but I don't yet have a reference to compare to), Dale suddenly became disdainful, and insulted me by saying, "It is apparent that you are interested in price rather than quality." Aside from being false and presumptive, this type of communication is highly unprofessional. The irony is that a quality firm would not have a Director of Canada-US Tax Services exhibiting this type of shaming behavior. My experience is consistent with a previous review by Dan S., namely, they try to use an implied reputation to get over on people (quoting a price, then calling me cheap when I inquire about it). read more

Worst tax firm ever. Beware they use an implied reputation and upscale location to get over on people and their businesses. At first we thought the name brought a good reputation and solid tax service to our company but at first it was the only time we thought highly of them. We gradually became slower to respond charging high bills without notice and then it got worse way worse.. Dont plan on using this firm if you want your taxes done before September... Especially when you give them all of your documents in March!

I had a dreadful experience with this firm. We had an agreement signed with Peter Beahan. They were negligent in their advice for filing our payroll taxes and then did not follow up on the required filing of forms. In the end, I had tax penalties in excess of $6000 levied by the IRS. I had to get another tax accountant (in Virginia no less) to resolve the matter. The firm is presumptuous and not responsive. read more
