I bring my Toy Poodle and he too is quite welcome as are other canine kids. Pastor Steve Irwin has a fantastic message every week that speaks to me and I love his enthusiasm and humor he injects into his message. God bless all of these individuals! Today I had a terrible headache so took advantage of the online service and it too was quite fulfilling. I've reached out to investigate a couple of the groups and am sure I'll find one that I can contribute to. Considering our declining moral culture, I wish that everyone would be part of these services. Being grateful each and every day for an opportunity to worship with likeminded people is truly a blessing!

I went 2 Sundays and both had us standing for half the service. After informing the person at the front of his diagnosis along with his triggers and coping mechanisms they pair him with a buddy to help him navigate the kids services. My kid goes in enjoying kids church and comes out learning about Jesus in an inclusive environment. If he gets overwhelmed they have a sensory room to calm down so he can then be reintroduced back into the class. Mind you they have been doing this with excellence for the past 9 years!!! The word that goes forth is real, on point, relevant, and challenging. No sugar coating here! But the services are always enjoyable because Pastor Cole is hilarious! Small Groups: Seriously take your pick there are soo many!! Also currently they provide childcare during their major group nights. Such an easy way for people to connect to Gods community. Most importantly everyone is welcome. It's a come as you are. When I first started coming way before I had kids I was homeless. They welcomed me in and accepted me just as I was. No judgement, no downcast or snobby looks. Just pure love and a heart to see God move mightily in my life. Best thing is, it's still the same, the same spirit, same heart and same God at work in the lives of the people today.

The first song at the Christmas Eve service was what seemed to be a hip, boho version of "O Come All Ye Faithful" with a violin and a guitar, and it was fabulous. The spellbinding message was captivating too. Andrew Beard, the pastor, is an eloquent, spellbinding speaker who masterfully weaves together real life and scripture. After the service, I misplaced my phone, so I went back to the church to see if I left it there. The person I happened to ask about it was Sarah Beard, the pastor's wife, and she immediately stopped what she was doing to help me. My phone didn't turn up at the church building, so she offered to call my number and walk outside to my car with me to see if we could find it, and we did find it. Sarah did not have to help me, but she did! That was just "wow to me, and her humility and servant heart speaks to her Christlike character. She reminded me that there are Christlike people among us in this dark world. Thanks to the Beards for being Jesus to me on Christmas Eve! So glad our vacation included a Sunday so we could attend a service here today, the Sunday before July 4th. Pastor Wingo brought a message on freedom, "Highway to Eternity: Fear to Freedom!". Scripture verse was Psalm 119:45, "I will walk about in FREEDOM, for I have sought out your precepts." A great message and a church that is nondenominational and has a heart for missions. The Sunday service is at 10 a.m. The sign says "Come as you are" so casual attire is welcomed! The chapel is an architectural beauty set within the trees on the back part of Seaside. Don't miss attending a service if your vacation includes a Sunday!

They have lots of different activities as well as a gift shop. The only reason I am not giving it a 5 star rating is because they do need to do some work to the dorms and they need better security. Somebody could very easily just walk in at the retreat, but other than those few things. This is a nice play to be!

Dr. Steven Kyle wonderfully preaches the Word and we are proud to be members there. They offer Wednesday night dinner and classes on Sunday mornings. We highly recommend.
