There were multiple kiosks to buy chips and the power card. The chips had bonus for each purchase amount and there was an all day option available for $55, valid for only the day of purchase and a max 500 ticket limit. As we started going around the arcade/games zone, I realized it was not as big as some of the other D&Bs I had been before. Still there was a good variety of digital games, interactive games, and all familiar games like basketball, ski ball, and bowling. They also had a unique Human Forklift game where kids were lifted like a forklift in a pit where they grabbed plush dolls. It required a separate ticket. We also noticed so many of the games were out of order or the power card tap wasn't working. Though it was exciting in the beginning, it fizzled out as the evening progressed, our 6 year old ran out of games to play and wanted to leave.

The fifty thousand light display is located in Milwaukie, just twenty minutes south of downtown Portland. The attraction has developed quite a following as media attention and word-of-mouth continues to spread each year. Visitors will find an animated light show with music and lights synchronized. There are amazing special effects that make the drive to this inner southeast neighborhood worth the effort. There's plenty of street parking if you'd like to get out and interact with the light show, or you can stay in your car and tune in to the AM radio station that simulcasts the music. They even take song requests! On rainy and windy nights, the homeowners also put up tents to keep spectators dry. The homeowners are using the media attention they receive for good. Visitors can scan a QR code to access a donation portal to help support LoveOne, a non-profit community-based organization committed to serving Clackamas County, Oregon neighbors in need by providing clean laundry, showers, meals, personal care resources, and community connections. How amazing is that?

You must present valid identification at the gate before proceeding to musuem. The displays show Oregon military history from it's settling in the 1800's through current times. It has an incredible vault displaying military weapons through history and an art exhibit created by veterans. There are many volunteers on site who are eager to answer questions and inform about the history of the exhibits. In the back, there is a library for research and archives of the military. The library is open by appointments only on Thursdays and Fridays. I found the 7051 nails being pounded on plank of Douglas Fir representng each of US Servicemen that were killed during Afghanistan and Iraq Wars quite sad. You see it physically in front of you and it's a memory of how many we lost during the wars. Let's address the real star of the show: the popcorn. They pile it up like a buttery Mount Everest majestic to the eye, but often as stale as something dug out of an attic. You'll occasionally encounter rogue children running missions of their own while their parents stare at their phones like they're defusing a bomb. It's mildly chaotic, mildly hilarious, and mildly distracting in the most entertaining way possible. If you want the premium experience, go for the big theater with the reclining chairs. That's where legends sit. Comfort, space, and the perfect angle for judging humanity between previews. All in all, it's one of my favorite places to go. A little wild, a little unpredictable, but always fun. Some of the people are questionable but that's half the entertainment. You really can't complain.
