The food was absolutely delicious, extremely fresh, and obviously lovingly prepared. Our iced lattes were really yummy... full-bodied flavor without being too strong or bitter. And the owners were EXTREMELY nice and helpful. While chatting, we mentioned that we were passing through town... and they very kindly started asking where we'd been, what we'd seen and where we were going. They offered some really helpful tips for things to see and do in the area (THANKS!) and were genuinely friendly and helpful. Don't miss out if you're in town. Stop in!

Breakfast seems a particular favourite among the locals. I had the scrambled eggs with chives, double smoked bacon and roasted vine tomatoes with 2 of the biggest slices of toast I had ever seen. They offer a surprisingly sophisticated menu which had my mouth watering and me wanting to try everything on offer. They also make their own cakes and Macarons. I can't wait to go back and sample more of their delicious food. Btw they also source their ingredients locally or as close as possible, so that in turn helps the whole community.

And no wonder - the food was delicious, the staff were friendly and the prices were reasonable. We were particularly impressed with the gelato - it was good (small batch artisan production) and at $5 for two scoops, cheaper than the usual places we buy gelato from!

The bagel sandwich was pretty filling, but the poached egg wasn't runny. The berry friand is deceivingly small, but filling. The cranberry and almond cake was light and worked perfectly with the fresh cream. The thick gingerbread milkshake was a sweet holiday treat that worked nicely with the cakes. The service was quick, but they do have a 90 minute seating allotment for this month and next month to let everyone enjoy their meals during the holiday season. The flickering lights were a bit annoying to sit under, but look nice from afar. Overall, a great place to grab a quick bite to eat.

It's been proven quite difficult to find good coffee in Bundy lately and giving Grindstone a go was definitely worth it. Parking was easy, we were served quickly and food came out in a very reasonable time, quite a nice atmosphere and noise from the street was not an issue at all. If you haven't tried Grindstone for breakfast or coffee, give them a go, you won't be disappointed
