The flowers had to fit in a small glass box, around the urn. I was served by Lynette, a true artist! She immediately called the funeral home to obtain the dimensions of the box and started sketching out desings with dimensions/ created a maquette of the box with a vase to replicate the urn. Lynette was able to provide us with ample visuals of what the arrangement would look like, and we were right to have full faith in her abilities because the final product was SPECTACULAR. My grandmother wanted a cascade of pink and white roses. Stoneblossom not only created two horseshoe arrangements to caress the urn, but a beautiful cascade of pink and white roses to top the box which is exactly what my grandmother would have wanted. We received multiple compliments from friends and family on how gorgeous the floral arrangements were. I had never heard of Good Grazes before but I saw it on my "Too Good to Go" app (which is an app…read morethat helps to prevents food wastage) so I checked them out online. Good Grazes makes charcuterie boxes and "snacking boxes." Their Too Good to Go box is a collection of their surplus perishable ingredients that were used to make regular retail boxes. I figured for $7.99, I would give them a try. Executive Summary: food was tasty and I would consider buying a regular box from them. They are located in an industrial park in Gloucester, which is not all that convenient for me. However, they are only a slight detour on my way to Orleans when I visit my parents. So one day, the stars aligned and Good Grazes had a box on Too Good to Go and the pick up time and date was convenient with when I had planned on visiting my parents. So I bought it. Except for the parking situation, the pickup was good. Staff were friendly. They handed me the box and even warned me that the silver candies were not soft and were rock hard like jawbreakers, so just to be careful not to chip a tooth, lol. I appreciated this information. As for the parking, there are limited spots and they were all taken so I had to park on the other side of the building and trudge over in the snow (which thankfully was mostly cleared off in front of the stores). Not a huge deal, but I hate the cold and snow, lol. The actual box itself was a bit random, but this is to be expected with a surplus ingredients box. However, it gave me a good idea of what can be found in regular boxes. I got a pile of salami, some cucumber and carrot sticks with ranch dip, some cantaloupe, half a strawberry, some cubes of Swiss cheese, some triangles of brie cheese, some dried apple chips, 2 maple cookies, some peanuts, some snowflake-shaped gummies, a hotdog-shaped gummy, and some aforementioned silver jawbreakers, lol. I also got some slices of baguette, a few pretzels and broken crackers, and an "instant hot chocolate in a cone" mix. Like I said, I was heading to my parents' house and my brother's family was going to be there too, and the box was a hit. The randomness was great, as the kids loved the gummies and fruits and the adults loved the meat and cheeses. The veggies were still crisp and nothing tasted rotten nor stale, despite being "leftovers." I'm so glad I found out about this business. It is not a business you would stumble upon by driving by and seeing it, as it is tucked away in an industrial park. I would definitely consider buying a regular box from them either for myself or as a gift.
