Bonus is the food is brought to you, so you can bowl while you wait. Fries were standard, and thick cut and is salted with some type of fry salt. It did the trick while hungry. There are a couple arcade games on site, but not many. I do not know the correct bowling terms, but sections are shared between two "parties," so you are sharing the balls and seating area with another group, if the lane next to you gets booked. Big star down for that. Front desk is friendly. Bowling shoes are comfy. Not sure if it is wheelchair/stroller accessible though. I did not see a ramp to get down the lanes, so I had to carry my stroller down a couple steps. They have rock and bowl here too, so I'd like to come back and check that out.

My four year old had a blast and was sweating by the end. Dress in layers as it can get a tad hot. There is a huge inflatable castle slide for the kids. Word of advice, don't sit at the benches behind it as the motors running the castle gets pretty loud and also puts off some heat. They also hold birthday parties here on the main floor, as well as a daycare on the second floor. Staff were friendly. Hubby tried the pizza and said it was OK. Only downside were the hand sanitizer dispensers. Every dispenser I tried was empty and the washrooms needed a tidy.

Maria, the chef, is super friendly and knowledgeable. I recently took a Mexican cooking class with her and my mother-in-law. It was a lot of fun and the food was delicious. There is a commercial kitchen in the downstairs of the Shenkman Arts Centre that is used for the cooking classes. The kitchen is well equipped and there are volunteers to help with cleaning dishes as the class cooks along with provided recipes. The communal meal afterwards is really nice to be able to talk to fellow classmates and to enjoy what we made together. You're allowed to bring containers with you to the class in case there are any leftovers. We ended up bringing home a bunch of things because there was plenty to go around. I highly recommend checking out a cooking class here!
