Everything was perfect we had to carry nothing with us as far as kitchen other than food

We stayed in cabin 111 for a few nights. The owners were friendly . The cabin was secluded from the other cabins . The hot tub was nice wish there would have been a back door though so we didn't have to walk around the front. My only two complaints would be number one there were not blinds or curtains in the living room and no tv in the bedroom. If we return to the area we would definitely stay here again though it's a lovely cabin with great owners . It was a very relaxing stay we enjoyed it ! This cabin is also great for star gazing as well. There is a cat that made visits nightly he was very friendly and lovable! Also don't worry about buying spices they have the main ones you need wish I would have checked before going shopping. If your looking for a good place to eat we suggest Sally's smokin butt bbq they have amazing bbq , good prices and the best brisket either one of us have ever tasted. If you're looking for a quiet getaway with the best hiking and climbing you can't beat Bear Creek cabins in Ft Payne. Little creek canyon and bear creek canyon are worth the hikes down to the water. You may even catch an Alabama band concert while your there. We have stayed here many times. The owners Randy and Sandy Galloway are very accommodating. This has become our "go to" getaway - log cabins with a real, old-fashioned feel, very little outside noise, total privacy all tucked way out in the country where at night you can see a million stars. Very friendly, helpful owner/managers. Real retreat, with lots of historical sights and natural wonders within easy driving distance. Highly recommended! read more
