He was so humble and personable that we almost forgot we were looking for a house and left feeling like friends! They have a great selection here and it's hard to believe that some of these are trailers (with T&T interiors and mass customizations). My fave was "La Belle" and her little sister "La Linda". They can show you virtual tours of what's not on the lot too and they also have their own factory which is a plus. No middle man! I hope all works out for the 'rents! Whether they purchase or not, I think my dad might have a new fishing buddy. The guys at Palm Harbor are knowledgeable and down to earth. They know their homes are quality, so the homes sell themselves and the selling pressure is nixed. They treat you like people instead of trying to bait you, and that makes us want to purchase from them even more. Stop by...highly recommended!

My brother and I anticipate buying our own place within 1 to 5 years. When the weather is nice and…read morewe're both off, we like to go around the manufactured home lots and look at what they have. Inventory and styles change often, and when we're ready to buy we want to go in and say, "This is what we like. This is what we have to have. This is what we really don't like and won't have." On Saturday, November 8th, we visited Clayton Homes and Greg Tilley's Homes in Bossier City, LA. Then we stopped at Palm Harbor Homes. At the first two places, we had excellent customer service. We went into the office, asked for lot maps, and explained our time frame. The salesmen encouraged us to look at whatever we wanted to and then come back and ask them any questions we had. When we asked for floor plans, they were happy to give them to us, and again let us know that we could contact them at any time with questions. When we came to Palm Harbor, the parking lot was empty and we were initially concerned that it was closed. But the office door was open, so we went in. After a minute a salesman came out to greet us and we asked for a lot map. He took us back to his office and we gave him our time frame. He fumbled around in some drawers and then left his office for a minute or two. When he came back, he said they didn't have any lot maps. I then asked if the units had names on them, or numbers, so we could come back and ask for floor plans of those units we liked. Again he fumbled in some drawers, went on the Palm Harbor website, found some floor plans, and again left his office for three or four minutes. At which point my brother looked at me and said, "He's trying to get rid of us. Want to just leave?" I felt that would be rude - and if the salesman was trying to get rid of us, I was not inclined to give him the easy out. We didn't ask to be brought back to his office, after all. We just asked for a lot map. Finally the general manager came back. I can't recall what he said verbatim, but after he was done I summarized it back to him with, "So, basically, don't waste our time looking at your lot?" His answer was a simple, "Yes." Translation: don't waste HIS time if we weren't buying that day. Every manufactured home lot says the same thing: we can give you the home you want, we can modify floor plans to exactly what you're looking for. So regardless of where we buy, we know we can get what we want if we're willing and/or able to pay the price. So who we actually buy from is going to depend a lot on how that particular lot makes us feel. We're not going to base it on one visit, either, but over all the visits we make. Salesmen change as often as the floorplans do, after all. We'd had one not-positive experience with Palm Harbor where they said they would email us a copy of a floor plan with some modifications we had asked about, but never heard from them. This was the second negative experience we've had with them. When a general manager doesn't even want you to look at his units because you're not buying immediately, it says a lot of negative things about future relations. A sell worth around $100K in the next year to five years should warrant at least 5 minutes of his time when there are no other customers on his lot, no other cars pulling in to park. Simply having a car IN his parking lot, letting others know that they're open, should be worth five minutes. Letting passers-by see customers walking his lot and going in the units is worth that five minutes. I went in to their office asking for a lot map and expecting to be allowed and encouraged to look at their units. Instead, I had my time wasted and was essentially told I wasn't worth their time because I didn't have my pen poised over my check book ready to make a deal. I also posted on their Facebook account my experience not to long ago. Within 15 minutes, my post had been deleted. No company gets 100% positive reviews, but any company that will not allow negative experiences to be posted and responded to suggests that the company has something to hide.

Brewer Quality Homes - And the idiots that came to fix it tore all the floor up lifted this piece up so they can roll back the vinyl flooring to see how to fix it

In spring 2024 we decided to buy a new house so we went to Brewers quality homes have found…read moresomething it was a used home it was in good condition the floor was immaculate condition we bought it as is it's in the contract everything was good we got a good deal on it and then August 8,2024 they moved it to our land in Becville Texas and during the move The rack that holds the pots on the ceiling was not tied down over the kitchen island and during transportation it fell dented the island put a big old gas in the island which I wasn't too worried about but it but the tore up the floor is pretty bad. Brewers manager that was working with us got fired Because he was trying to help us the new manager that is there is a real dick didn't do anything for us! But give us hell I gave them a bad review on google & facebook and he told us they weren't gonna fix the floor even though it was done during their move to our property I turned the house got here on August 8 the floor was destroyed. They had one of their workers who is just a handyman doesn't really know much about Floors come out and put blue tape over it to mark the spot and try to fix it he couldn't fix it he even said himself it had to be replaced I had three estimates done on that floor the highest one is almost $5000 to fix that floor cause they have to replace it the lowest one is almost 4000. they had a couple people come and try to fix it but they couldn't fix it because it's ripped and it's vinyl sheeting flooring it has to be replaced and they weren't replaced it they wanted to get the cheap easy way out and but yet they're supposed to fix everything because that's not how I bought the house as is the floor was immaculate there's nothing wrong with it. Because I gave them a bad review which they deserve because it's not the first time they have done something like this there's other reviews lots of . They have a lot of bad reviews and the only good reviews they have are from folks that paid cash for their houses. They won't fix the floor amd I'm going to take them to court still I don't know how long I have to wait but I am gonna do a civil suit on them because they need to realize they can't sell somebody house as is and then bring it to him a whole different way that was not as is the breach of contract. They were nice all the way up to this when they had to spend money to fix something they did. Then they came assholes about the whole thing and because I gave him a bad review after fighting three months with them to get it fixed when it shouldn't of took three months and then decided they weren't gonna fix it because I gave them a bad review like I said you can't do that when it was in the contract sold as is and I have proof lots of proof that floor wasn't tore up before they brought it here that's when I decided to write a few more reviews because it's still not fixed and the floors and worst condition after they had their people come look at it because they were lifting it up lifting pieces up taking it apart I will be posting pictures with this that is a poorly ran business they do not back their word they lie and they scam and they all they wanted your money they are not out to fix anything they'll drop your house off as long as you don't pay with cash you're gonna get screwed in the end for people like us is the last manager CHRIS HEMPHILL they had their while we were trying to deal with this and he's the one who said they will not fix it because I gave them a bad review my husband call to see if they were gonna come fix it and he told him no because I gave him a bad review on the phone instead of an email but it doesn't matter we still have proof and told him that probably so we wouldn't have proof on the email that he said it but he's already been proven a liar I've got all the proof. If you don't want a fucking bad review fucking own up to your word don't sell houses and say they're guaranteed as is and bring it not as is because that's where I got you you need to come fix it see you in court I haven't forgot sincerely Blake & Andrea Burgess of Beckville Texas may the karma find you in the same spot you put other people in SO IT IS

I got the extension luckily. I was originally going to buy a new home but was talked into going for a used one they got as a trade-in that needed a few repairs i was told about the used on on February 22nd and they told me it would be done and ready by the march 15th... I drove 109 miles to see the house because they told me it was ready. I get down there its not ready cant even go and look at it. They tell me each week that it will be ready next week and to give them more time... all while saying this they are trying to sell me on a double wide which I couldn't afford... the used home is still not finished and its currently April 24th... so I ask for a refund and try to get my money back they give me a part of it and claim the rest is for fee's they never explained or told me about even.... I called and spoke the the manager Jimmy he said he would look into and call me back and never did.... I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!! I am unsure if they are scam artists or what but this is my opinion about them.

More than a week after that the plumber (subcontracted, not hired by us) installed the water and septic and instead of inspecting to make sure everything worked they left the water turned on which due to negligence on their part and the dealer the water heater drain was open and we have multiple walls and flooring damaged due to water leaking for DAYS before I discovered it. The electrician that was also subcontracted blew us off for a week before he finally showed up to hook up the electric but he didn't bother to call the parish up so they could inspect the electric work for Swepco to be able to do their part. We now have a home that has had water damage for a week in it and no idea when it will be repaired or even if they will do mold cleaning for the studs. Due to multiple weeks of everyone failing to do their jobs in a timely manner we have a home that is unsafe to live in, that we have to pay our first mortgage payment on next month and also pay rent because we can't move in. We don't even have a/c installed because there is no electricity running to the house. Oh and to add icing to the sh*t cake the subcontractors chose to leave their trash on our property! Food trash, water bottles both on the ground and inside our home and multiple cigarette butts one of which was obviously still lit when they threw it on the ground.

I have contacted the salesman Lemont, spoken to other salesman that work there , as well as left a message for the "now GM" Chris, to no avail. The home was damaged in the move from Alabama to Bossier City and not fixed, still to this day it is damaged and all we get is the run around and "put it on our 30 day list". That is unexceptable BECAUSE NOTHING IS FINISHED. Our end caps are not complete and with all the rain, now there is a leak on the wall that the rain has got into. The floor and wall in the master bath is trashed due to this and WE HAVE NOT MADE OUR FIRST NOTE AND AREN'T completely moved in. They are the worst company ever to deal with, daily we get phone calls that someone will be out today and they never show up. Now the manufacturer is stating that its our problem..... ITS NOT COMPLETE how is it our problem. As well as, upon the set up we were told we had to pay out of pocket for the electric pole, box and set up, which we did, only for the salesman Lemont to come back and say we needed to sign off on $1500.00 to go to the contractor (which happened to be a friend), then Lemont tried to say that was a "reconnect fee"... I am not the brightest color in the box but I didn't pay that much out of pocket and I will not be giving him $1500.00 to pocket and tell me it goes to the electrician. They are a joke and definitely do not stand by their word. Once its moved off their lot they could give to craps about anything else, after all its not their home nor do they pay the note on it, which we will be paying in a week. They are horrible and you can definitely tell they are owned by Brewers, if I had known that in the beginning I would have passed right on by them and went to Clayton. They don't even deserve one star. Do not recommend at all.
