    On Wednesdays and Saturdays 9-1, this market has alittle bit of everything! Main St. is blocked…read moreoff from M-119 to the church. We go every Weds and Sat from May to October. We purchased everything we needed for dinner tonight: Fresh walleye from Fred's Fresh Fish, corn on the cob from Farmer White's and a nice spring mix for salad. Oh, and red velvet cupcakes from My Sister's Bake Shop. The market has live music and games for kids. There is a woodworking booth, Lavender products, soaps, Fiddlehead Farms, Dutch Oven bakery, Pond Hill Farm, several other farm booths with fresh fruits and vegetables. You can have crepes made to order, grab some empanadas, get your knives sharpened, grab some cheese and mustard, pick up some sauces and oils, and Gregory's Farm sells the best meats. Over 40 booths today with a lot to offer. One of the coolest things is the Young Entrepreneur's tent, which features local kids selling things they have made. We purchased an egg carton full of recovered golf balls. There is also a kids corner to keep the little ones busy with coloring, sidewalk chalk, etc. It's always nice to see so many people supporting our local vendors.

Some of the expected offerings included lettuce, fruit, herbs, jams, pickled beans, honey and flowers. But you can also find local yarn, French macarons and soap. Musicians played and children danced. It was a lovely part of the morning. It is a pretty small market, but plan to do some other things in town while you are there. Main & State Streets (summer) 157 State St (winter) Every Wednesday and every Saturday, June-Labor Day, 9am-1pm; Saturdays outside through mid October and indoors at 157 State St. October-March.
