We had a group of 83 people and filled every single room, yet the house never felt cramped. There was more than enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably, hang out, and enjoy different activities at the same time. Everything was spotless when we arrived. The bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, gym, movie theater, and pool area were all extremely clean and felt almost brand new. You can tell the property is very well maintained and professionally managed. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made cooking for a large group easy, and all the amenities worked perfectly. The views were absolutely incredible -- waking up to the scenery around Bear Lake was one of the highlights of the trip. It really made the whole experience feel special and peaceful. The management team was also fantastic. They were responsive, friendly, and always available whenever we had questions or needed anything. That level of support made planning and hosting such a big group stress-free. Overall, this place was perfect for a large group retreat, family reunion, or event. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and would definitely book again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a spacious, beautiful, and well-managed property!

The hot tub wasn't getting hot enough, it wasn't clean until we had to say something. So, for the first two days it wasn't usable. Then we had issues with the theater room, the remote wasn't working because the infrared from the remote to the receiver, which was in a locked closet, wasn't able to signal to each other, until my son in law put the front of the remote under the closet door so it can work. How fun was that! The powered theater seats weren't hooked up to power; the owners disconnected them. I should have been informed about that one. The heater in the garage/game room didn't work until we called for maintenance to come out. Then it really didn't heat up. There was a broken wall lamp upstairs that had electrical wires exposed. A big safety issue. A code violation? The beds were horribly hard. Many of the heating vents were closed when we first walked in. My poor husband had to open them for the heat to come through. And it was ice cold when we first arrived. For the money we paid, these things should not have been an issue. We rented this house mostly for the amenities. We did not get what was promised or what we paid for. I appreciated that they did send someone each time there was an issue. But the way I look at it, you are paying for everything to be at optimum working order or at least be told ahead of time that there are some things that may not be working well before you rent a property. Unfortunately, in our case things were not in optimum working order. Think twice before you rent a home with Bear Lake Luxury Rentals. You just may get a lemon of a deal. It's actually less money to go through other rental sites. I learned that after the fact. This company is not listed with the BBB either. So, where do I go for resolution? Who holds them accountable to patrons? I did reach out to the owner about these issues and some other issues not listed here, but no response yet.

The last time was…read moreseveral weeks ago in July 2021, and sadly we were really disappointed by the lack of upkeep this time. The previous owner was wonderful, but the property was purchased by a management company and they didn't seem to care about issues that we had--maybe because our reservation was made before their purchase? When we arrived several toilets and sinks were clogged, one ceiling fan upstairs didn't work, and there were bat droppings all over the porch and the outdoor furniture. The sprinklers in the playground lawn were left on for several hours each morning so that area was always a mud pit, and a broken log porch swing was just left on the lawn. A company representative seemed sympathetic on phone calls (the 1st and 2nd nights of our stay), but the only thing that was ever addressed was when a plumber came (on the 3rd evening during dinner) and fixed some of the plumbing problems, then never came back to finish. We swept up the bat droppings ourselves and disinfected the chairs. The rep never checked back to see if any problems were resolved. After we sent an email we were told that the company will be renovating the property, so maybe then they will take better care of it, but I'm afraid the personal touch is gone.

Our beds were great, it was so nice to have a kitchen. We had everything we needed! PRO: Awesome views from our cabin Great beds Spacious and comfortable Big nice table and chairs in our cabin Easy check in and check out Great to work with Bear Lake Cabin Rentals Easy to find All rules and regulations were posted Full size fridge CONS: Would have love a list of what they had in the kitchen, we would have used the slow cooker! Would love more detailed pictures of rooms and extra bed/futons. Basement was really cold during the night, just use extra blankets! As a side note: You have to have 4 wheel drive vehicles to get up to the place in the winter. We had to park one vehicle down at the base, and use the 4 wheel drive to get everyone up. We had a awesome stay and would totally recommend it to anyone!!! We also had snowmobile rental during our stay and the customer service was excellent!

We received a friendly greeting when picking…read moreup our keys at the office and were looking forward to settling in quickly for the night after a nine hour drive. We brought all of our stuff up to the condo and started looking around. As I opened the refrigerator door to start putting our food, the overwhelming smell of tuna hit my nose. I opened the freezer, and it was in need of a good defrost and cleaning--- there were yellow and orange/pinkish spills frozen into it. Our exploration of the condo further made us uneasy with it's uncleanliness. I called and left a message on the voicemail stating the uncleanliness of the condo and for a call back. When the property personnel called us back, they asked what was wrong, and while I was on the phone with them, housekeeping showed up. This was an entirely awkward situation as a. as a customer, I didn't feel that I should have to laundry list what was wrong with the condo in order to justify my uneasiness at how unclean it was and b. how awkward to have the person whose job you are complaining about suddenly show up at your door. I left the property personnel know we were deeply uncomfortable staying in a the condo because of it's uncleanliness and were thinking of staying elsewhere. She mentioned they had another condo over the way available for $479 vs. the ~$412 we paid, because it was two bath two bed. We let the housekeeper know we would be going to check out the other condo and if it was not satisfactory, would be leaving, so there was no need for her to stay. We did decide to take the other condo, but I had to ask for the same price rate because otherwise I would have had to pay to 'upgrade', which wasn't our intent--- we just wanted to stay in a clean place. I felt that making us pay for something that was the companies fault was poor customer service and that it should have been offered as such in the first place. After settling into the other condo we noticed that most of the dishes were dirty and had food stuck onto them and that someone could easily break through the front door. When you opened the door part of the door sealer moved and you could see inside the jam and inside the condo. When we left, we followed the instructions to leave the place generally clean, but could not get the washer to work. Just waiting for the $50 dollar charge to show up on my credit card for this. My thought is, if you want the customer to leave the place generally clean, does the company even clean afterwards? Judging by these two condos, there are definitely some oversights and I won't recommend or stay here again.

Not to mention a dead bird in the window that no one was able to remove for us (despite us asking) and sliding doors that don't lock. We left our rental several days early because it was totally unsuitable and false advertising. They also said they don't have a pool yet so they point you to the community pool, but turns out that has been closed down for years. We're currently working to get a refund on the nights we didn't use (since we left early) and still haven't received a call back. Hoping this review gets some attention from the owners so we don't have to escalate further. Here's just a short list of all the issues we ran into: - Drug deal in front of doorway to the condos - Lake view is a scam - see photos - Dead bird in window (that my 3 year old found) - Sliders don't lock - No community pool as noted in email - Cody's restaurant team was buying/doing drugs right under to our balcony

Will be a wonderful vacation spot when the resort is complete. Unfortunately one of the staff saw our 22 year old son (unbeknownst to us) smoking a 'clove cigarette' on the balcony one morning, resulting in a $336 charge to my credit card. Reviewing the contract, I realized it stated smoking anywhere 'may' result in this fee. I called the manager to explain this wasn't tobacco, we were unaware and would never allow smoking on their premises. I asked for a reduction in the fee to $100 which I would have our son pay for the lesson learned. No one in our family smokes tobacco and we took excellent care of the unit, even avoiding shoes inside. The manager refused, stated I was lying, insisting the unit reeked of smoke, and complaining that we got a great deal on the condo (prior to memorial day opening season at Bear Lake when we were the only visitors, so of course they gave us a deal!), and ultimately offered me $50 off, still resulting in an extra $286 loss to my family. I was happy to pay some portion of the fee for the 'clove cigarette,' but was terribly disappointed in this unfounded accusation and huge added expense for my family.
