My good friend and I had planned a day of fun with her three nieces (9, 14, and 17 years old) and…read morewe spent more than half of it at the Solomon Center. A delicious lunch at Costa Vida, a few hours of fun at Skinny Dogz (formerly Fat Cats,) and then a movie at the Megaplex. We were surprised to find out that Fat Cats is now called Skinny Dogz, but it was the same great place we remembered from before. The girls were excited to play laser tag, so we did that first. I was very impressed with how modern and exciting the laser tag arena was. I have played many times over the years at other places, but this arena had some really cool features I hadn't seen before, such as time delayed "laser bombs" that would hit anyone exposed in all directions. You activate them by shooting at the target enough times, then get out of the way fast! We also had a lot of fun at the arcade. At first the girls stood around not seeing anything that interested them, but after a few minutes, they found some games that they liked, and within about an hour or so they were begging us to reload their cards so they could play more. I enjoyed the air hockey table, and loved the motorcycle race game. (There were two, but the ones to the left were my favorite.) I learned that if you take first place, you get to race again for free. Before leaving, we cashed in our virtual tickets for a bunch of fun prizes. We didn't have enough to get anything big, but we had plenty of candy to eat during the movie, and a bunch of fun toys, including a super bounce ball, which my friend had to confiscate from one of the kids for bouncing it in the hallways at the movie theater later. (Ok, it wasn't one of the kids, it was me.) :) I would highly recommend Skinny Dogz as a great place to have fun with your kids or to take someone to for a fun date.

Customer Service was not good besides the guy at the ticket area with the prizes. Our bowling lane…read morebroke like 5 times. The food was awful and the beer tasted bad. I am not a person who typically complains or leaves bad reviews but I was very unimpressed with me and my families experience.

We've celebrated many of our kids' birthdays at Cache Valley Fun Park. It used to be tradition…read more After today, it won't be. Here's how it went down: my son nailed the Bonus Drop X-Treme game, dropped the ball directly into the bonus hole. Three adults watched it. Zero points showed up. Simple fix, right? Tell an employee, they make it right. Wrong! First up: Philip (employee) asks Cash (manager #1). Cash says the points will "take time to add." Spoiler: they didn't. Philip assures us if they still don't show up, he'll add them manually. Fair enough. We return later. Points still missing. Philip checks with Brooke (manager #2). Brooke shuts it down instantly. She flat out calls us liars because she didn't personally witness it. Then she gaslights me with the laughable claim that their games can't malfunction which is rich, since another game had literally just malfunctioned and needed a restart. Brooke, we're talking about 472 points. That's what: three tootsie rolls and a bouncy ball? Is that really worth accusing paying customers of dishonesty? The kicker? My son, being awesome, plays again. Nails the bonus again. This time the game coughs up the points. He even filmed it. Imagine being proven wrong by a kid with an iPhone. We've spent more time and money here than any other entertainment venue in the valley. But after being told our word means nothing and treated like scammers over pocket change level prizes, this is our last visit. The Fun Park might have games, but the real show is management's ability to turn loyal customers into ex-customers.

Stole our money and would only give us credit for the arcade back. Never going back and wouldn't recommend to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else.

When we've visited, we were either one of two lanes in use, or the only lane in use. They seem to still have some bugs to work out with their processes and systems. When we checked in the first time, they struggled at the counter and had to get a least two different employees to help us. The second time, they didn't get the time correct for what we paid for so we were worried the lane would shutdown before we could complete our games. Ultimately, it wasn't without some repeated trips to the counter during our bowling. While bowling, there were additional issues. We bowled on different lanes each time we visited. But both lanes had similar issues with not recording one person's score correctly which delayed our play, but didn't stop the time clock from ticking away our bowling time. Each error had to be corrected at the counter and not by us at the lane terminal which was frustrating. Another issue was that our balls, which were those supplied by the facility, would periodically get stuck in the ball return which again delayed our play and we had to fetch an employee to come and clear the balls. There is a snack bar and alcoholic beverage bar near the bowling area, but both times we were there, the staff did not man that area and we had to go to the front counter to get an employee who was old enough to serve alcohol to come back to the counter and serve us. This again took way too much time and delayed our play. In the end, we didn't feel like we got our money's worth due to the challenges with the scoring, ball return, and service issues. We may consider other venues if we choose to go bowling again.
