And its true, there is a strong creative element in flower arranging- it must be really satisfying to create beautiful bouquets all day long. Whilst I've decided it's a little slow paced for me, I ardently admire and support those who make it their vocation. It lifts my spirits when I see a neighbourhood florist, and Ginger Lily is no exception. Outside there are all sorts of reasonably priced little plants- perfect for pressies or pick-me-up treats! Inside, though there's not a huge amount, what is there is really special. Lots of delicate, beautiful single stems...there's no question, this is the place to get a really unique and special bouquet.
It may be a little pricier than a bunch of roses from Sainsburys, but who wants to receive flowers with a giant £4.99 emblazoned on the wrapping? Not I. So I urge you, splash out, support your local florist, and get a much more personalised bunch of posies for your mantel!
