We have been with Dr Tibbits for years he has never offered much in the way of care, but he would refer to specialists when needed because we would get the care elsewhere. As soon as my husband was diagnosed with diabetes. He would not refer him out to get the care he needed . After 2 separate trips and visits to the hospital, he became the dr from xxxx. Offered no care or help, couldn't even get a follow-up appt His aide and himself became irate with me over the phone that we had already started looking for another replacement. Then of course he canceled us as patients saying we were not a good fit. he then rejected my pharmacy refills!! We would never recommend him or his clinic as they do not listen to you or care. my opinion is tibbits is not very knowledgeable about diabetes. I know many others that have also dropped him. DO NOT GO TO THIS NP! I have never ever been treated so badly by a medical "professional." The entire staff and aids were amazing and friendly and kind. When Mr. Miserable "not a doctor" walked in I knew this one was not going to be someone to return to possibly. No smile ever. No eye contact ever. Walked in with laptop in hand looking down while saying "you must be so and so." Then said his name, with back turned to us, and no hand shake, no how are you or nice to meet you or glad you chose me for your care! He may as well walked in and said f you! But he did then say to me and my husband, "you two have a lot of issues and I don't have the time for you today you'll have to come back." Wtf? Ok then... Then he starts asking questions of us (still not making any eye contact) and literally mocking our answers in disgust. We were the first patients that day at 8 am! We waited 45 min to see him while being processed by the medical aids. Bloodwork etc. so how he already had zero time for new patients is ridiculous. I had zero sleep dealing with an ailing, elderly disabled sister and was up at 6:30 to make the trip to town to meet this new "professional." Had I known I was going to be interviewed and judged and then told he won't be taking us as patients? I would never have wasted my valuable time. Not would I have waited for an appt for two weeks so I could get meds renewed to have him walk out on us? He literally said "I don't think this is a good fit." Omg! Who does that? I said to him he didn't have to take us then if he felt that way. Immediately he got up and walked out. I said wow. He said, "dont worry I won't charge you for the meet and greet." Again, who says this stuff? Explains the 3 star review. What a waste of my time because a NP doesn't have the confidence, ability nor personality to do his job and actually take care of people who spend valuable time to give him the chance. He is literally the worst possible person to be in this profession and I pray for anyone who actually can stand him as their primary. He clearly does not care about people and should not be in this profession. I'm so disgusted I called the board of licensure as well as his office manager (who is also his wife.) so that won't matter I'm certain. I pray for the women who work for him as they are very kind and not people who deserve that type of boss. I hope he isn't this way with them or his wife. What an ugly disposition and a miserable man. Highly recommend Bear valley! They are awesome! Very quick, give what is needed and super nice people!

Dr gave me no care. (Been a patient for a few years at this point). Employees are rude & unhelpful. Business seems all together shady. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Worst Dr experience I have ever had.... DO NOT GO!! They do NOT care about mental illness/depression. Absolutely the worst Dr office and staff.​ read more

Check out this review of Bear Valley Medical Clinic, LLC originally posted on Google Maps I will be seen on my next visit to Bear Valley Medical Clinic( post relocation of their office) for an appointment with Daniel Tibbits my PCP, whom has been very proactive and thorough since taking over my care. His approach to prepare a well developed plan of care to address all stated issues/concerns was most impressive. I have experienced nothing less than professionalism efficiency and extreme satisfaction with each appointment. MUCH of what makes this such a top notch group is the staff, who can't do enough to ensure all your needs are met in a timely and pleasant way. And I can speak from experience as a patient that was exasperated over a couple Rx refill incidents that while not the the fault of the Clinical staff ( was the part on the other end ). I found the girls (not to be a name dropper Amanda and Katie) at Bear Valley willing to assist me to the conclusion and admittedly my repeated calls had to have had them as frustrated as I. Yet conversely...never showed. This group is indeed a fine example of medical ethic and knowledge combined with business savvy. I commend those who serve, as well as who owns and/or run the practice. As a side note I am a nurse of 42yrs therefore, in the know, and ashamedly aware of possessing the common eccentricity of idiopathic noncompliance. So for someone who may be so used to being the caregiver and not so much paying attention to my own well-being, I am truly most content and appreciative of being associated with and in the care of this competent crew aboard this tightly run ship. I was very excited about this clinic after my first appointment. I am prone to UTIs, and after telling the doctor I spend many hours a year sitting and waiting in urgent care for appointments, I was pleased to be told that in the future I can simply call the office and let them know I need to drop off a urine sample and pick up a prescription to take to the pharmacy, eliminating my hours and hours a year at urgent care. Months later I got a UTI, and I called the clinic. I was told by a medical assistant that because I had taken an OTC AZO product to curb the intense UTI burning pain, they could not help me that day. They said I needed to wait at least a full day, then take a urine sample to the local hospital for testing... after which they would review and write a prescription. So they wanted me to wait 2 days in pain before even starting antibiotics. After the first phone call, I called back because I was confused - Dan Tibbits had told me something totally different, and AZO products have never been a problem for me with testing urine in the past. The receptionist then told me Dan was not in the office at all, so I couldn't talk to him, and I couldn't get a prescription from them that day at all anyway (which I should have been told from the beginning), and transferred me to a medial assistant again. I was told the same thing again, that they couldn't test urine with AZO products used, and that I had to wait until it was out of my system. I was frustrated at this point and told her I would just be going to urgent care. On my way to urgent care, I received a voicemail from the medical assistant asking me to call her back to talk about my symptoms again. I called her from the urgent care parking lot, was told the SAME THINGS over again about their policies regarding AZO products and having to take my urine sample to a hospital lab rather than their office. She would not listen to me and kept talking over me, saying the same things over and over about their policies. At this point I raised my voice, informed her that I was already in the urgent care parking lot, where AZO would not be a disqualifying factor for my care. I thanked her for her time, told her to have a nice day, and hung up on her while she was still trying to talk over me. I went into urgent care, they told me they can ABSOLUTELY test urine with AZO in it, and I had my results and prescription within 20 minutes. They determined by tenderness in my back that the infection was already spreading to my kidneys, and if I had waited a day or two like the medical assistant insisted I probably would have ended up in the hospital. Today, over a week later, I received a letter of dismissal as a patient from Bear Valley Medical Clinic because they determined that I was the problem. This is by far the worst experience I have day with a new doctor. I was either horribly misinformed by the doctor at my first visit regarding how they handle a UTI, or my situation was grossly mishandled by his staff. I do NOT recommend this clinic, they can't even handle a basic UTI. read more
