My wife and I went in for couple's counseling and worked with Vanessa for the last 6+ months. She…read morewas a fantastic therapist to talk to about our relationship issues. She was very attentive in every one of our sessions asking about who we are, where we came from, or why we think certain ways so that she could fully understand our personas. Her diligence in her work and asking the right questions to pry into our feelings/thoughts were just what we needed to get our issues out into the air. I feel a much stronger connection with my partner after these sessions and truly appreciate the hard work Venessa put in. I feel like I'm in a much better mental/emotional place for myself and my spouse to handle any current or new issues that we'll face together.

My therapist, Ann, is absolutely wonderful and so helpful and empathetic, which makes her very easy to work with. And I cannot begin to express my gratitude for Dr. Bansal - she is so caring and relatable as well as extremely educated. she takes the time to listen to all facets of your health and genuinely give good medical advice. A Ray of Hope has everything you are looking for - neurology, counseling, psychology and more than that, you feel like an old friend who can't wait to catch up with them!

Thanks to Kathryn, I've truly fallen in love with Pilates. I have also taken her Myo-Yin and Yin Yoga classes...again, 12/10! The Astute studio itself is peaceful and welcoming, and I always enjoy relaxing with a cup of tea on the patio after class. I wholeheartedly recommend Kathryn's classes to anyone looking to improve their well-being and enjoy a supportive community.

Update: After speaking with Rebecca regarding my experience with Amanda, it is very clear to me…read morethat she cares more about the reputation of her business over the treatment and care of her patients. My experience working with Amanda Ferrari was overwhelmingly negative. After several months of therapy, I left feeling significantly worse than when I started. The experience had such a profound negative impact on my mental health, that after ending therapy with Amanda, I sought care from another therapist to help me process and recover from what I experienced during "treatment". I try to exercise care when writing reviews such as this one, but this is the type of therapist that you should avoid at all cost. She has, what I believe to be, a deeply rooted bias against men.

Her excellent training and intuition will support your healing process. I've worked with her myself and have seen her work with many other students, and i've never met someone who didn't rave about the quality of her work. She's so detail oriented and really does care about you. It doesn't hurt that she's highly yoga trained + a psychologist! It's a great combo. She loves what she does, and it always shows. If you can get into one of her group yoga classes or maybe even schedule a private lesson, it will seriously help you. She's a gem

How I found her was through a neighbor recommendation in a FB group called, "Real West Loop." It is refreshing that this group of neighbors is not linearly focused on family-oriented conversations or "Mom-Talk" in sourcing neighborhood recommendations. Real West Loop is a place for our community to come together for updates, recommendations, referrals & events. For me in particular, coming across a thread related to adult adhd, managing workplace performance, balancing life & finding a great therapist was really amazing & led me to match with Sharon Koys PA-C. http://facebook.com/groups/realwestloop

I was able to connect with the clinic directly by phone and they were able to schedule an appointment with the doctor I wanted to work with, but it would be a telehealth visit. That was fine with me as I live an hour away from the clinic. I will have to have 1 in-person visit per year, so that's do-able. The doctor was very patient, kind, listened to my questions and concerns, and for the first time, I actually felt heard by a psychiatrist. I'm glad I found this practice and I'm looking forward to getting back to feeling better.
