My me, husband, and 14 friends come every year to Beauclaire's for a great weekend with JoAnne!

Beauclaire's is always a great time. Joanne is a wonderful host. Beds are comfortable and location is great!

I spent a beautiful weekend here in July with my boyfriend, the rooms were comfortable and have a great atmosphere. We were able to even walk to the beach. It was so close and had the most beautiful views from our room.

My boyfriend and I just returned from a 4 day/3 night stay at Beauclaire's and loved it. Joe is a kind and excellent host who was more than happy to accommodate your needs. This was our first time staying elsewhere in the midst of a pandemic, and we couldn't have felt safer. Masks were worn by Joe & his staff at all times, and by the other guests in common areas. There was always sanitizer, wipes, and disinfectant spray available whenever needed. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast made by Joe on the porch every morning, and we certainly took advantage of the beach badges and bikes included in the stay! The proximity to the beach can't be beat, as well as to the shops, restaurants, etc! We had such a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again in the future. Thanks for everything, Joe! We just ended our fantastic 2 night stay at Beauclaires. This was our first 'big' trip since the pandemic and we were naturally apprehensive about staying in a home with others. However, our fears were unnecessary. Joe, the host, has done a great job of adjusting his business to make sure all his guests are safe. First was the contactless check in. When we arrived, there was an envelope waiting for us with our room number and details on amenities. Breakfast was socially distanced and everyone wore masks at all times. The breakfast was delicious and evidently some real home cooked food! We stayed in Tyler's Room and it was very comfortable. The shower was amazing! Location is perfect! Overall, an amazing stay and would definitely return!

We had a 2 day stay this weekend for my wife's birthday, wow!the breakfast both days was over the edge great and the place is such a beautiful gem.we will be returning hopefully soon with the weather getting better.highly recommend a stay !!

Everyday a different gourmet breakfast. Outstanding!

If you enjoy gourmet breakfast, a beautiful Victorian home, perfect location and a friendly but not intrusive host this is the place to stay in Cape May. I will definitely stay at Beuclaires again! Thank you Joe for helping to make our vacation outstanding!

Beauclaire's has free parking on-site - not a big deal in the winter but would be very useful in the busy summer.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME !!!…read more My Sir (yes, I literally call him that because he is such a sexy Sicilian gentleman and always dresses to the 9's!) is taking me away here for my birthday. It's my first one with him in my life :) I was blown away when we walked up to the main house, toured inside of ours, had tea, a cozy night and breakfast. He breakfast was nithing shoet of amazing! The star was the Blueberry Stuffed French Toast casserole - like OMG insanely delicious!!! I kind of had three servings! Many other perfect choices too, like English muffins, fruit, yogurt, granola). Our room is done in dark reds and boasts cherrywood. Also, beautiful prints and furniture. We had a romantic evening with the jacuzzi, (gas) fireplace and cloud cozy King sized bed! Stellar service from all - Sam and Amanda in particular. They do A LOT here! We MAY leave the room today, lol. Walking Washington Street is a possibility. MAYBE the Zoo... I lived in Cape May many moons ago. A definite place to visit- you will always have somewhere to go and somewhere to eat! Splurge on the decadence of The Queen Victoria!!! You're worth it!!!

This was our first visit to this charming B&B and it was truly a positive & memorable experience. It's located within the heart of Cape May, so walking distance to a myriad of restaurants and shops and only one block from the beach. The amenities are unbeatable - beach cruiser bikes, beach chairs and towels, lots of outdoor porches to relax on and read, and an outdoor shower. The breakfasts are delicious (we had an egg/cheese entree with ham the first day & a stuffed French toast with sausage patty the 2nd day) The daily morning and afternoon baked goods were delicious (especially the assorted breads with homemade strawberry jam!) The owners (Doug & AnnaMarie) are extremely warm and welcoming and go above and beyond & to ensure every guest felt safe during the COVID pandemic (great social distancing, mask awareness, plastic shields as needed & hand sanitizer). A well stocked 24 hr kitchen with plentiful bottled water as well. Lots of extras that you don't find in other B&Bs. They also immediately alerted us when my wife left her pocketbook behind at breakfast. You can tell that the management truly cares about making this place a great experience for their guests without cutting any corners. It's truly a beautiful property with lots of outdoor space and charming rooms each unique & all very well-maintained, extremely clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Nothing but wonderful things to say about the Queen Victoria & we hope to be back again soon!

It is in a giant Victorian home, and I absolutely loved that they have kept the charm from that time period. We had booked the Decatur suite which is on the second floor. Our room was very spacious, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud!!! The bathroom had both a standing shower and a jacuzzi tub. (I didn't use the tub so I can't comment on that). The room was very clean, as was the bathroom. We were also supplied with two super comfortable robes, which were so soft!!! The breakfast both mornings we were there was delicious, and both very different! The first morning we had a fruit salad with vanilla dressing, followed by a pineapple coconut oat bar with a side of bacon. I could have eaten the oat bar, which was similar to a baked oatmeal, all day long! It wasn't too sweet, and had the perfect amount of fruit. Our second morning, we had a brûlée banana with fresh berries and Chantilly cream followed by an egg and sausage casserole. It was SO good!!! Amy definitely does an amazing job with breakfast. The little touches that added a lot for me was the Bloody Mary bar at breakfast. I love a good Bloody Mary and The Mason Cottage provides all the fixings to make that happen. Also, in the afternoon from 3pm-4pm they put out some light snacks. We had cheese and crackers the first day, with these amazing creme brûlée tarts, our second day we had chips and salsa, an herb dip, and freshly baked cookies. The location is also phenomenal, you are one block from the beach, and one block from shopping! I am looking forward to our next trip, and we will definitely be staying at The Mason Cottage!

Right across from the ocean, the historic building is on a street with cute victorian inns, and when you sit on the porch you can see down the row, or stare off into the waves as you breathe in the salty air! There's quite a bit to do in the area, including different trolley tours (we did the ghost one) which are a ton of fun! Plus an awesome outdoor shopping area with some great restaurants (such as The Blue Pig). I reccomend 931 Beach House to anyone looking for a historic building that's been well preserved with adding light modern touch. A beach town with cute shops and restaurants make this a great destination for couples and families alike, and being on the smaller side keeps the inn well maintained and makes you feel special when you stay. The bedroom balcony was huge and beautiful, affording me a panoramic view of the ocean 24/7. At night I kept the balcony door open and fell asleep to the sound of the ocean roaring across the way. Everything I needed was inside the room - kitchenette, large shower, smart tv, lamps, extra lighting, and lots of towels. The innkeeper Liza is such a beautiful person and extended herself to me beyond what I expected. I wasn't sure how to get there and she offered to pick me up from the station - so sweet. I love her! I ended up driving in but it's the thought that counts. It's not every day that people offer things they don't have to do. The beach is clean and felt really private in October. I'm sure the summer is more packed, but it can't be that bad because Cape May itself is just beautiful. There are restaurants, clothes, souvenirs and so much more to do on that strip. I can't wait to go back there.
