The dining room is decent sized however quite dated. The simple menu highlighted that they sourced local beef and I was sold. Little did I know that my $27 t-bone would be about a kilo! It was served simply with chips and salads. T-Bone was sweet and cooked as ordered so no complaints there. A companion had the whole local trout which looked amazing. All in all, a decent pub in Tumut.

Still this pub was pretty packed when I visited it. Yeah, it was actually a pretty decent pub, even though the beers were only ones produced by the majors. It actually has a pretty large beer garden out the back, but that generally doesn't surprise me with a lot of the country pubs. It does look quite large, but that is probably because it is on the main road coming in from the North.
